I hit one with a boat when I lived in IL

How in the hell do you hit a deer in a boat?

Same with deer and lower riding vehicles.
A bit further north of me, in northern Maine, they have a moose vs automobile hazard. Moose are massive, and those bull bars are probably not going to help much. They are tall enough to come through the windshield of a full size truck, when struck.

I guess squated trucks have a place.

New ESC came in the mail, and bought a few more things. $20.00 for a servo horn is crazy but they act as both a horn and a servo saver because it's made of derlin. Still have plenty of things to buy, just taking it one step at a time.

I run the cult butter pegs. Durable and cheap. as of late a lot of skateparks require sleeved pegs but I sometimes just run metals anyway. It’s no different than a skater bashing their trucks on a ledge
