What stupid thing did you do today?

dumbass thing i did today. first i got out of bed. second i went to work. third i wore new shorts and new shoes to work.
this next part belongs on the rants. boss came in over the weekend so I'm going to be working with epoxy with a moderate chance of spillage because he's probably going to want these damn things done and shipped today which means rush job.
this is why i can't have nice things.

I got on the freeway. Didn't have to where I was going, but I did.
Behind a car doing 45 on the entrance ramp with a semi in the merge lane.
I backed off to watch the show, semi moves to left lane, slow car speeds up to match semi and stays there. (You know where this is going, right...?) Car won't pass semi, semi can't pass car. For miles and below the speed limit!!
Here's the stupid thing I did...
Waze showed no cops in the vicinity, hoped I could trust it...
Upcoming rest area has a long entrance ramp, I passed the idiot car on the right in the entrance lane.
I guess the dumbest thing I do on a daily basis is expect people to have some level of common sense.
They don't.
