alright now i’m shopping for a few things:
axle kit/upgrade
bearing kit
idler gear
drive gear
diff
gearbox

let me know what yall think of the stuff I listed above

will also take suggestions on a shock kit for the car I want something that has actual adjustability as compare to just some clips lol

changing the gear box means I should get a different rear bumper mount as well I would need the traxxas one but I don’t want the original one so i’m thinking this should work as it still uses the same mounting holes

decided to put this back together and toss it in a box for a later time to deal with 🤣 i have a 272r magnum transmission on order so ill just source a new bumper and call it a day lol, I do need new rear axles and shocks though I don’t even want to touch these shocks

I would get the proline transmission, I have had better luck with them
I ordered the traxxas one I guess we will see how it holds up then I didn’t want to pay the extra for proline plus the different pitched spur gesr

Does the Proline have a sealed and tuneable diff? If not, id vote 272r over Proline. Also I think the Proline transmission I think can only fit the included spur gear it comes with and not any other gears, might not be idk

I use the 272R in mine and it's a beast

I seen people run it on 6s power so that's why it's a beast.

Yeah those are the ones I have. when you get them you have to change the rear hub place to the bottom hole so it doesn't hit the control arm. I also think you have to put the tie rod on the top hole in the shock tower, but I can't remember...
alright cool I will have to test it out then thanks

transmission came in the mail today gotta swap the spur gear since it’s 90t not sure what to put in though of the options i’ll have to research some

bruh one of my driveshafts didn’t come with another screw pin??

nvm I found it, it was lodged in the joint lmao

one step closer to getting this car ready to be driven again got the spur changed, bumper and axles mounted to the gearbox, just need to switch out the pinion and clean the motor and work on cleaning the car but this is good progress also need to get some new shocks and mount tires to wheels then it’ll be 90% ready
