60 mph Savage Speed

Heres a new video of the truck going 61.2mph and the rpm is around 31,000. This tells me that I have alot more gearing to push which means faster and faster speeds.

Current gearing is 20/36t

Yeah I agree....bad ass project. He might be faster if he had "UN-obtainable Boeing Grade" TVPs though...lol. He knows what that means.
 
Haha I know right!

Well hopefully today the beast does go faster with my gearing installed. It's way taller than this last run ;)
 
I would say you are a crazy bastard but that would be a little hypocritical...lol. I know how it is to have one of those challenges that you just HAVE to beat. What is the new gearing now?
 
Snook those wheels are the bomb. It's like they were pulled right off a NASCAR. They have lots of grip, handle like a dream and the freed up power is nutz.

My new gearing is flux gearing just on an insane level
 
Heres a nice little gain today, I'm running 20/30t gearing and boy does she rip, which tells me I can go further in gearing.

I also crashed at 69 but nothing broke!
 
It seems to still be pulling plenty hard. Gear it up like crazy and see what it can do.

What kind of gearing are you running on it now?
 
20/30t

It's about 29,500rpm here all my other vids the truck likes 28,000 so I need to gear up some more for sure. I'm running out of room tho where I'm running lol and it's a long street.
 
Should be interesting, my next gearing will be 20/25t which should bring my rpm around to 27-28,000rpm which translates to 77-79mph. I'm not saying it will happen, but then again i never thought id hit 69. I certainly have the motor for it ;)

What gears did you end up using ... not size but actual gears. Did you go with revo gearing or is this still some savage variant?

I was using Revo spurs but now I'm running flux pinions.

Hpi 20t cb and hpi flux 25t pinion
