If you already have an idea on how to 3D model you will have a big leg up on a lot of people that first start in 3D printing.
I have a decent idea at least with solid works designed a bunch of stuff for the entry engineering course I took before I switched majors lol

I’ll have to give it a try. Was gonna reach out to the forum to make some larger mounts for my 1/10 starter box to fit my nitro drag slash properly but maybe I’ll try to design some myselfView attachment 202907
For now I’ve just butchered some 1/8 lexan lol
invest in a set of digital calipers. :)

My work so generously purchased me a nice husky set of calipers for a fan shaft and bearing job I did. They may have found their way into my RC tool bag 🤔 pretty nice upgrade over the Aliexpress ones I had lol

That's exactly where a 3d printer shines.

You'll find Fusion 360 is more intuitive, more powerful, and easier to use. I used SolidWorks with the SolidCam addon. It's decent software, but clunky at times I thought.

I wanted to try 3d printing but could’ve even figure out how to make a curved line on blender lol
With some effort, you may just be handsomely rewarded!

You'd be surprised how much you need one and don't even realize it. I have fixed so many things with mine. And I have come up with solutions to some things I needed for convienience. Like this little hanger on my Kennedy tool box.

Wish I can have a racing sim setup. But with all my video game stuff in the basement, I would need to put away the sim setup everytime I'm done playing. Also not sure if a Xbox one x can be used with a sim setup?
it can your just limited to racing games in xbox lol a pc allows you to really get into the sim stuff

Yea I play mostly Forza horizon 3,4 and 5 with my controller. But I do also got F1 21, 22 and 23. Need for speed. Hot wheels unleashed, Forza motor sports and stuff.

If you're on a budget check out Bvssupply.com he's a local guy here

I've been running them for about 6 months now and they're great. I run the edge and tracky in soft + sslw. 4 tires, foams, and wheels for $45

Manufactured at the same factory that makes aka and a few other name brand tires

Just wish he had a micro knobby tire like the diamante

Also he'll be dropping nitro fuel in the coming weeks
