Don't forget to order snacks, ya gotta have snacks to keep up your energy when assembing everything. :)
I will make sure to have plenty of those around haha can’t wait for the build and will share pics

I wouldn't due to the sensor wire being different since the max10 g2 uses a different type of sensor wire and its a waterproof design. Plus its a smaller motor. Good for a 2wd sct, but probably not a heavy 4x4. My uncle back in the day used old novak motors. I think it was 5000kv 550 size. They were pretty powerful. But now since novak is way long gone, those motors are ultra rare and expensive if in good condition. He has 3 of them sitting on the shelf, lol.

Edit: If you really wanted to use that castle motor, I believe hobbywing does make sensor wire adapters to convert their waterproof plug to a standard pin sensor wire "wire"

hm alright doesn’t seem like it’d be worth it then was worth a shot to save like $40

this is what I have set to order to any recommendations or changes I should make? I will be racing this car at tracks near me.

tires wise the tekno wheels will be for racing once I figure out at the tracks what tires to use, I will order a set of slash wheels off of ebay to bash around with

battery and charger wise i’m looking at grabbing zeee 6800mah 2s lipo with bullet connectors but I can change it that if there’s a different rec, for a battery charger i’m looking at a gensacearespammers

also wait to buy paint cause my gf will decide colors for me
For Batteries, Id look at the LiPo test data HERE and make an informed decision about what LiPos to buy.

For a charger, until you get to the point where you want to spend for a high end charger like an iCharger or Revolectrix/PowerLabs Id buy the HOTA D6Pro that WF suggested.

I do have one I have the 16t one I was thinking of adding 17t as well
It's always a good idea to have a few pinions on hand in case she gets hot.

well i placed the orders ill hopefully have everything by this weekend

Find out how long the mains are at the track that you plan to race at. The 2.0 will suck the life out of packs. To help put things into perspective, I run a G3 4000kv motor with a 8200mAh CNHL 120C pack, and will get 12 minute run times.

wow I did not realize that that’s crazy okay yeah I will need to find out for sure didn’t realize it drained so fast

CNHL is an amazon battery yes? I sometimes feel like amazon batteries advertise ridiculous numbers. I have some zeee and ovonic stuff and it’s fine, I just wonder how they compare side to side on a real life tests with say, some SMC, turnigy, gensacearespammers, phantom, or even the spektrum stuff. I just wonder.
I also wonder if the 2.0 might like higher voltage with lower KV.

No, they are a battery company that also sells on Amazon.

Look here for comparison test results
