I ordered the new DSK 1/8 scale roller buggy from Rlaarlo. As it happens to be they do not own a warehouse in the states & the kit ships out from China. I have ordered 2 weeks ago and still, just a created shipping label. Had I known I would had to wait this long I may have got something else. Anybody else Oder from them out of China ???

Of my four Rlaarlos, I ordered two directly from Rlaarlo in China and the other two from Amazon. The two from China arrived at right around two weeks. I also have a DSK roller on order. I placed my order on May 12 and will play with my other toys until it arrives. 🤠

I grew up in the pre-Internet and pre-Amazon days when EVERYTHING you mail-ordered usually took a few weeks or more.

My order from Rlaarlo in China is a 1/10 Rally roller. Placed the order last Tuesday, received a confirmation email same day and a shipping notice two days later - last Thursday. So far that is in line with their shipping instructions on their website. I anticipate 2-3 weeks for it to get here and planned for that.

Shipping cost is reasonable so the trade-off is a longer delivery time. O.K. by me. By registering on their website, got a 10% discount on my first order - which was a sale item. So far, win-win. Just have to be patient an await the arrival.

Ping them with an email, panzer if you have concerns. So far, at least on my end, communications from Rlaarlo to me have been good. Cheers. -AC

I'm upset with them, too. They sent me an E-mail on Friday (5/15) that said the Unimog would go on sale 5/16 (yesterday), but I keep refreshing the link and it still says "Coming soon"!!!!

The horrors we go through in this hobby! ;)

Come to think of it, I think my Sea Monkeys and X-Ray Specs took about eight weeks to arrive after ordering... 🤓

Mail order. Now there's a term you just don't hear anymore. Could you imagine the chaos if we had to go back to this...

I was a Super Saver Club member! :thumbs-up:

Typical mail orders were submitted by mail (hence the name!) and paid by including a check. You had to wait for the order to get through the mail to the business, then wait for your check to clear, then wait for the package to arrive. Later on, the really cool, modern outfits had a toll-free number so you could order by telephone and pay by credit card! Space age stuff!

Sometimes at work I hear someone crying that something they ordered took a week to arrive. 🤣 I remember when 14 days was average for shipping. We have definitely gotten spoiled. I still don't start to worry until I hit the 14 day mark.
