scored a front chassis stiffener and diff gear for Team Losi XX buggy. dug the buggy out to check it out. started to fit the chassis stiffener but i have to remove a ball stud on the shock tower for pin clearance. so i said the hell with it and stopped for the day.
i think i can now put that car back together as a runner.

Sweet, pics when you get the time.

Put together some Injora wheels together for my AX24. I forgot how "fun" it is when there are four thousand give or take micro screws.

Ignore the cat hair, can't remember the last time I got a picture without it. My hobby cat likes to "help".

I like the cat hair, it gives the tires more traction.
@Doom! what I do is skip every other hole, that’s half the screws to deal with and the wheel will hold just fine.

Well apparently I didn't get enough of those little screws the other day. My other AX24 was jealous and also wanted new wheels and tires.

Good news is the 410 issue was just the batteries 😂

No problems out of it today 😎

And since we didn’t break anything yet we recharging batteries to try again 🤣

Might have to get something other then a tekno out so we got a better chance 🤣

So @WickedFog riddle me this 😂

The same batteries I was having issues with in the mt410 are also the same batteries we’ve always used in the mt8 as well. I ran one of the batteries in question in the mt8 today with no issues, it ran for probably 30 minutes as usual even with my son driving it (which is mostly wide open 😂)

I don’t get it but oh well, all is good, we had a fun day with em

Different electronics, yes?

For sure, the mt8 is still the rtr esc/motor. But it’s not much of a slouch 🤷‍♂️

Weight wise the mt8 feels heavier (no scientific evidence 😂 just left hand vs right hand) performance wise the mt8 hangs with tekno and actually will outrun it given the driver (tekno is geared conservatively, has room for more but has been plenty for us 😂). The mt8 runs hotter it seems (again no evidence cause I’ve never taken the temp gun to the mt8, only the tekno but my finger says the mt8 is definitely hotter after a good run 😂)

I’m sure there is more to it though. Just another note when the tekno was cutting out and beeping the low voltage tone within one full throttle run the battery showed over 4 volts per cell. After running it in the mt8 today to it’s cut off they were at 3.7 per cell. The tekno isn’t on a radio that has telemetry but the mt8 is and it never dropped out below 14 volts. The data log on the tekno showed it would hit 13.2 volts on one wide open burst within seconds when it was having issues.

hope maybe some of that makes sense, was interrupted multiple times tries to type and have had a few wobble pops 😂
