So make an offer… Sounded like you needed it… 🤷🏻‍♂️ No problem bud. 🤙
"need" and "willing to pay for" are 2 different things in my book. even Scrooge McDuck would call me cheap. I'm like "what do you mean this $5 item i need is on sale 50% off, I'm not paying that." :hehe:

however i did just fine one for $25 so...

That’s my next step, I gotta wait til tomorrow though to bring my laptop home.

I’m pretty sure the lvc is set pretty high on it,
because before after a full run the battery would basically be at storage voltage, sometimes it wouldn’t even do storage charge at all. But it was never a problem before either, it always ran as long as our other trucks.
Your voltage will sag under load. The more load, the more it will sag. That's why I suggested the alarm, to rule out the batteries, however unlikely that may be, I have seen stranger things. If you're getting close to LVC on the bench, you're gonna hit that a lot sooner on the ground.

The other thing could be that something in the ESC got hurt, and is adding to that load, causing the ESC to trip the alarm sooner.

Sadly, it's not looking good bro.

I’m fixing up this diff issue after dinner and will probably try to run in again tomorrow and see what happens. Can’t get my laptop til Monday.

Just weird this just started this first run after it ran the balance cord through the spur last weekend 🤷‍♂️
Life's too short for problematic RCs... I'd just return the truck where I got it, and hope they'll refund half your money.

:hehe:

I do have new batteries order, should actually be here tomorrow. I’ll look at getting an alarm and I’ll go through the truck again this week and see if I missed something.

Hey, if nothing else, that Max 8 system will work 😉

Maybe Castle can repair the Cobra 8 if it went bad?

Another thing to check... check the voltage coming out of the ESC to the Rx. Make sure you're still getting the correct voltage. Maybe the BEC went bad. Not sure if that would cause your issue, but if it is that, an external BEC just might fix your problem.

Just throwing chit out there at this point.

That is planned for the 2.0 for now, kinda waiting to see what other sales are coming 😂

Before this issue even started I had thought about swapping that tekin rx8 from the sct I picked up into it. Then I can get the esc back where it should be. It makes it a pain to work on where it’s at now

swapped my Mini Z from 90mm to 94mm wheelbase, ditched the FC RX-7 and put the new 2000GT-R body on it. holy crap did it transform the car! its MUCH easier to drift now. way more controllable, more stable, more predictable, even drifts at lower speeds.

Installed chrome trims on new WPL classic bug. Solder XT90 battery connector for the new Kyosho Datsun 240z, and added lights to this classic rally racer.

I like that Element has pretty quiet tranmissions over some other brands.
Unless @majin has driven it 🤣
yeah bro mine DEFINATELY isnt quiet.... WELL THIS NEW ONE IS, BUT ITS A LITTLE TOOOO QUIET, I THINK ITS A TRAP SO I'm DRIVING IT OFF A CLIFF JUST TO BE SAFE. oops. sorry for yelling, i look at keyboard while typing
and cat knocked a pepsi onto my keyboard... good sticky times

"Its a trap!!!" OMFG!!! 🤣🤣🤣

@Littlemotor and @WickedFog
Just tagging you two cause y’all was helping out 😁

Brought the laptop home, and hooked up. Check lvc point.

Should be good there.

Pulled the data log.

Those are the last sessions (I don’t know why I grabbed 38). This is with the problem.

#30 would be the last good run and that was when the battery plug went thru the gear.

The problem happened with the other battery we have too and I’m not sure which was which in the log between 30 and 39, but 39 was with the repaired battery.

I’ll continue, in next post in case this gets too long

So session 30, no problem

Battery voltage low 13.7, esc and motor temps 130-140ish. Full run.

Session 39, with problem

Whoops didn’t have voltage in there, but battery voltage at 13.2 (cut off) and motor/esc 100ish degrees and 2 minute run.

Maybe that’s not conclusive enough, but wouldn’t it look like more a battery issue. Wouldn’t you think my temps would be higher if something was binding on the truck. Or could maybe be esc reading it wrong I suppose.

Should I pull some other data?

Maybe I shoulda grabbed the amp pull in there too?

I’ll have to chime back in after the movie is over, literally just sat down for it 5min ago, and got caught up in another thread while on pause.. Mrs. Littlemotor is not impressed..🤷🏻‍♂️🤣
