It looks like one pair of wheels are 12mm hex and the other pair is 17mm hex? Is that what the XXX SCT uses?

@Littlemotor , I do glue both beads lol, the only time I don't is in carpet SCT tires because the sidewall is too firm and it stays in the bead of the rim just fine when driving. . I ran my old set of carpet tires/wheels without the outside sidewall being glued to the wheel for almost 8 years lol. Never had an issue with the tire coming off.

The fronts are bearing hubs kiddo. This is a 2wd. But yeah, Losi did their own thing on this one. Only XXX-SCT wheels will fit it. But thanks to Chewy turning me onto a Chinese seller remanufacturing a discontinued Pro-Line kit that moves the front knuckes inboard, depending on if I can locate the correct hexes needed, it converts the front to use the same rear wheels. I believe it also allows the use of other SCT wheels. You just gotta watch the offset to stay within legal width. But I think I read with the kit and Traxxas SCT wheels, it is right at the possibly old ROAR maximum allowed width of 296mm. Google is saying 266.7 though. So which is it my little racing buddy?

Had today off, and spent it playing with the micros.
1. Swapped stock tires for racing slicks on the new Mini Z Toyota GT1.
2. While it's not difficult to take the body on/off on the micro b, I just find it annoying. So, took a Dremel to it. Battery connector is now on the outside. It can be tucked in a lot more if desired. Drilled a hole on the roof to access the power button. A hex wrench is insert through the hole to press the power button. So, I ShooGoo a magnet to the remote to always have the hex available. Also, changed the silver wheels for black wheels on the micro b truggy.

made front camber links for the 6 gear car. then did an eyeball alignment. moved the battery holder forward so some lipo's will fit. then found the servo mounts. i need to get the body out. then i think its ready for electrics.

iv also reached the conclusion that i don't think i have the servo mounts for the Losi XX. so yeah... back to ebay...

Pulled these chevron tires off my E-Maxx due to age cracks on the inside beads. Cleaned the aluminum wheels, now need to get a new set of tires for these old 3.2" wheels.

Today got the cars ready for carpet. Also cut out a new protector for the 22 since I forgot I got a 2 pack of universal ones. Cutting isnt the best but it works.

During Xmas break, I plan to do a full rebuild on the B74, freshen up all the oils and greases, gonna get a new bearing kit before hand, replace front gear box/sway bar mount and get all that caked on dirt and gunk out of the hard to reach places so it's ready for pro carpet

got some bodies mounted up. the AE already had the body cut out i just had to trim it up and shim the rear body mount to make it fit like it was supposed to. the XX was a new freshly painted never cut out body from probably 1994.
also did some digging and found a part for the slipper clutch on XX. it's not the correct part, but it will work and shouldn't effect functionality. and dug through everything again and the servo mounts are lost to time. so i need to track down a set of those.
and the 6 gear car just needs the top shaft shimmed, its got a tone of side play for some reason.

i now have 3 projects in need of electrics but this also means i can get back on the RC10GT
