In the process of designing a modular 3d printed shock rebuild stand , that will have a draining trap for old shock oil... a way to hang them upside down to drain every bit of oil out, then to put them in a holder , both the shock body and the shaft separately. so if your changing seals or shock pistons ..... you don't mix them up between each other ..... also has separate "bins " for different size parts whether its orings, caps or springs .....

Today, I changed out the 21t brushed motor and 11t pinion for a spektrum 80t motor and 9t pinion in my TRX4 Bronco. I'm not sure it was a good idea, but motor was under $9.00 on clearance from horizon, and the pinion was under $5.00. It insanely slow now. Probably too slow. I'll see when I take it out next time.
I also put the tires 2.2x5.9 and wheels 2.2x 45mm together for my pending danchee build. I also assembled the new metal links. Waiting on the car to deliver from aliexpress. Can't wait to install the metal gears, shock mount risers, motors, and servos.
I'm trying to do something every day. Tomorrow I plan on starting to pair my dx5c to several vehicles. I picked up 3 receivers and a 2 in1. Goal is to get down to 2 transmitters. tqi for the traxxas, and Dx5c for everything else.

Progress on the Talion. Mostly yesterday. Did a few things after work. Dual rear chassis braces- my signature. Scorched titanium chassis skid. TP4050 1950KV.

Working on a spare tire mount for Doomsday. Went ahead and rough modeled the Treal wheel and tire we are using.

Pain is probably going to keep my butt planted in my recliner for the next couple days, for the most part. But I am still working on RC stuff on my phone. Our next project finally has what I think is about 90% of the parts here. Still waiting for a missing HW combo for the XXX, but here is the gameplan for paint. Something super simple, but I like it. I just added the DE Racing wheels to it to see if I like white or black.

Black looks good too though

Gonna be siiiiiiick man! For 1:1 stuff, I’ve been a contributing “made guy” of the “Black Wheel Mafia” for years, but in RC I definitely go back and forth.. Definitely depends on the vehicle, and the paint imo… That one pulls it off either way, and the DE’s look perfect!

Gonna be siiiiiiick man! For 1:1 stuff, I’ve been a contributing “made guy” of the “Black Wheel Mafia” for years, but in RC I definitely go back and forth.. Definitely depends on the vehicle, and the paint imo… That one pulls it off either way, and the DE’s look perfect!

Well, we have a small collection of DE fronts in both black and white. A few extra rears. Only one complete set in white, but a couple sets in black. I'm torn on the tires to get though. That's one of the last things I need. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately that’d be outside of my wheelhouse… I know next to zero about anything Crawler, and ShortCourse…

I think I am going to use the stock wheels/tires to get the body set where I want it, then see what size tires will fit. Then we can figure gearing.

Hmm. I did consider dying the rear wheel orange. Let me try that and black.

I think if I put a big black 33 on the doors and roof, the black will really pop.
