I’d love to know what y’all drive as far as transportation.
I personally drive an 04 6.0 Ford F-250 crew cab,
But occasionally I toodle around in my 94 bronco.

I daily a 1998 accord 4 banger with 300k on it. I have more money in 1 RC than that car cost me. I have a long commute so I daily cheap cars. On the weekends I drive a Lexus GS or the Tundra.

06 Focus, Infiniti and Envoy.
Some ppl might think thats odd but I did it on purpose just to confirm that 06 was a crap year for cars.

The roads here warrant only the highest performing vehicles in every class!
The roads are bad because of plows in winyer, then repairs all summer. We have a LOT of tourist traffic too.

I feel like a fast, nice car here is a waste.
I've been eyeing a few military trucks that would be all sorts of fun in the woods though.

The Focus still gets over 35 mpg. The Envoy is in need of repair, will start that job again soon now that its warm again. Infiniti is fun V6 awd but not in great shape. I don't mind a scratch or 3 if it was fun putting them there.

I have a Crosstrek too! She does some work, carry all the bikes! Haha . Crosstrek was my previous daily driver/dog mobile.

Now with the kiddo (and cuz Mom wanted more pep) I got the Outback Wilderness as the new daily.

Next, I'm doing the legwork researching the nuances of Land Cruiser to get myself an FJ60 or FJ62

Same here. My 19yo middle daughter is now driving my old 2011 Corolla and it's closing in on the 250k mark.
The plan right now is to give her my current 2023 Impreza in Aug when she goes back to college. I like this Impreza a lot! Probably will pick up another one for myself comes Aug.

Its a G35X. Yeah. It neefs twin turbos I'm pretty sure.

Envoy is a project. Its a Denali 5.3 with 3.42s
Someone was nice enough to put an 8" in place of the 8.6 it came with.
The rear end is clunky, pinion is sloppy now
I bought a rack, 4.10's front and rear, driveshaft from an SS trailblazer. small lift, 32's... nothing crazy, just fun.
As you are aware, due to design, the swap should happen all at once. I've been collecting parts and a plan for a while now.
The SS rear end looked like it was under water for a year before I got it. Outside was pitted to hell. Inside wasn't bad. No rust. I'm replacing c clips and outer bearings, seals, new backing plates and cover.
The axles aren't excited about sliding back in to the auburn spring clip arrangement.
I am considering a posi swap now.
I have rear end housing de scaled, painted and ready for assembly now.
I haven't messed with it since fall so we'll see how it goes.

I’ve adopted the method of having a beater truck(99 GMC Sierra) and a newer car(2022 civic sport). Kind of weird having two vehicles, but it’s very convenient and oddly enough my car insurance is cheaper with the truck added to the policy than just having the car. Sometimes I need a truck and other times I want to drive somthing that doesn’t blow 26 years worth of farts into my face when I sit down.
