General RC Information
Running a JConcepts body, 2292sg Savöx servo, Revtech 6.5T motor, Hobbywing XR10 pro G2 ESC. It’s got some option parts too. Full Exotek steering, 1up turnbuckles, carbon shock towers, battery strap & top braces. I’m honestly not a huge fan of the body but being shaped like that it’s pretty well protected by the wing and towers so it stays nice looking a lot longer. I went through 3 stock bodies by July this year and this one has been on it since.
I marshalled the Mini-truggy class enough that I realized how fun they looked and picked this up at the end of last season. It’s every bit as fun as they looked! It’s the only car in my fleet that I can easily clear the triple with (as long as I don’t botch the apex just before it.) I run with the timing pretty conservative on the track but when we run the parking lot I have a hot tune I throw in it and it’s super fast. It’ll smoke a Slash Ultimate that’s on 3s in a drag race
They often say that Teknos are “built like tanks” and “indestructible” but I’ve actually broken more things on this than all my others put together. Arms, knuckles, shock shafts, wing mounts, and a shock tower. Maybe I just send this one harder subconsciously but lap times show me the B74.1 is my fastest car.
