This true or not? Idk, just saw it on Facebook. Guess a competitor already to the new Associated DC10

Well, not really. a basic 4tec ain't nothing like a real 2wd drift kit. But still. 🤷‍♂️

More Pictures

According to "R/C Hobby of Medina" - the 4Tec drift will be available July 26th for 329.99. It will hit Local Hobby stores July 23rd.

I think traxxas forgot what 4tec stands for. 4tec is a 4wd. But this is a 2wd based off of a 4wd chassis?

200mm wheelbase. probably a mix of 2.0 and 3.0
200mm Is very short, basically "Mini" class. Hopefully it will be close to the 257mm standard for touring cars.

I'm a little confused by the pricing, the original BRUSHED 4-Tec 2.0 was $230, this "drift car" is basically the same thing minus a few parts (driveshaft, front diff, rubber tires), so why is it $100 more?

New TSM I'm guessing. The old just had the base TQi.

It doesn't work like that lol
190, 200mm are the widths for road/TC's. The wheelbase is quite different between the 2.0&3.0, with the 2.0 being standard WB for touring car and bodies and the 3.0 is a longer, non-standard wheelbase length for the class of vehicle. Guess I'm too lazy to look up the actual specs for myself though. Lol
Pics to show i have a few road cars for reference, and everybody likes pictures. My GF painted the trans am body for hers and it came out amazing. I tried but failed so i cheated and bought the 4tec 2.0 body to match my real car.
