Paint is just about wrapped up so I can start installing windows, wipers, etc.

Love that color! 😍

Orange is one of my two favorite colors.
Purple (I know you love it), orange, and green are mine. Yeah, I think I'm Mexican 🤔

really wish i had seen this when i started my project lol, that thing looks awesome!! can't wait to see that rx-7 body on it!
Thanks! Your project is awesome, and one of a kind though. And I can assure you, MUCH easier on the wallet. LOL

So, I haven’t updated in a bit. I got my body mostly done, big learning curve for these delicate little bodies. I had some airbrush issues with paint, I broke a windshield wiper, one of the mirrors wouldn’t stay on, etc. So I just threw it together to have a body for now, and I’ll work on a nice one later. I initially went with the 22mm rims, and while I love the look of them, the chassis just didn’t sit right with them, and for sure didn’t drive well with them. I also got in a short stint at my buddies private drift track, and the tune I thought was great, was terrible after driving one of his cars. So I dropped down to 20mm rims, and it’s much better. BUT, I had to change my wheelbase, and some suspension settings, which means I have to start my tune all over again. These small cars are super sensitive to even small changes, and there’s a lot to learn about chassis setup for drifting also. But, it’s got me fired up about RC again, and I’m loving it.

If I didn't know that was a tiny little RC I would have assumed it was a 1/10 at first glance. Now I really want one.

Sometimes all it takes is a fresh challenge, glad to hear it's got you revved up again. 😍 looks cool, sorry about the little detail mishaps.

Some suspension adjustments, mounted my lip spoiler with the help of a dremel tool, and of course, stickers. LOL I guess she's done, hope to have some video up soon.
