The car came with no rear sway bar. Kits avail "bolt-in" but bolts break and mounts shift unless they get welded. (focus forums, not my experience)
These "Sport" springs aren't super aggressive imo?
They are a good street performer.
I looked for H&R "Racing" spring for the aggresive feel you are talking about but they wete unavailible.
I thought about the Eibach springs but this car is a 270k mile daily driver. Its currently being used to teach our son to drive. I don't want a big dollar suspension in it. I just want a fun DD.
The coilovers srem to be a hit with ppl on focus forums, more so than coil/strut/shock.
I personally have no preference other than yes, dialing it in and driving it! I have PLENTY of things to work on. Cost was a large factor. Then, being able to replace parts rather than buying whole new cartridges every time i slam a pothole sort of sealed it for me.
This car's suspension is a blip on my radar.
I have an Envoy that is getting SS swapped (sort of) and lifted. I need 4x4 here so that is 1st.
Then a Caddy coupe deville, then my Coronet...
Did I mention the fixer-upper we live in? we bought this a couple years ago.
I have only got back into R/C again recently. Thats a long story but its working out to be a great distraction from "life" otherwise.
I should be fixing SOMETHING, right now!!!
