I just installed the metal Rear Hubs. They look sweet! I have the metal Front Hubs arriving in couple days. Also, I'm replacing that silly silver plastic rotor/hub with the FAW204 HD Wheel Hub that screws onto the bearing hub. I already removed the red plastic caliper. Unnecessary. For those that want it to look cool, I understand. I prefer functionality over looking cool. Plus you really can't see anything when its going over 60mph.
I have to order a couple more clear bodies because I've already bashed and cracked the Mercedes body. :thumbs-down:
BTW, I've ordered the Carbon Fiber shock towers and Carbon Fiber front bumper mount support.:thumbs-up:

Wow that Kyosho Inferno On-Road is a beast! 1/8 scale with a .25 engine. I don't think I would trust myself to run that on anything but an asphalt track. I would want to go fast. Too bad I don't have tracks near me.
Lookin good!

Metal Front Hubs were delivered and installed. I also have a Camaro body I'm gonna use for bashing. Yes the body is gray glitter. Still has the oversplash mask.

Rebuilt front differential. Tomorrow the rear. Don't forget to make a gasket! 30k wt. in the front. I'll put 60k wt. in the rear and see how it acts.

I was messing around with the rear differential and decided to replace the pinion. I put a 35t and adjusted the motor mount. No time for the differential tonight. Maybe tomorrow. Its been raining here in Texas, so I can't test it anyway. 🌧️ I got a metal spur gear but its not for my car. Its for a different Kyosho.

Got my carbon fiber front bumper support in and installed. Looks good and gives it tons of strength on the front end.

I ordered the FAW204 Red Metal Hubs but they DO NOT FIT this car unless you have a +10mm offset wheel. The FAW204 red hubs have a 0mm offset and can't use the stock wheels. I screwed the wheel bolts with these red hubs and wheels do not spin or turn because the wheel screw drives into the dog bone. The FAZER and FW06 use the same wheel and offset which is +5mm from the hub. So the Red Hubs don't work.

Got my Carbon Fiber Front/Rear Shock towers delivered and installed. I think I got 2 or 3 more upgrades to do them I'm done for a while. On payday I'll order the aluminum shocks (FAW225 TC Aluminum Shock Set) and metal dogbones (FAW202 TC Universal Swing Shaft S). Then I'll do some high speed runs.

Finished painting the Camaro body and applied the stickers. The original paintjob had a glitter undercoat (non-polycarbonate paint) and it flaked off with the air and vibrations so, I had to start over. I was able to scrap off about 99% of the old paint and apply the Silver with black underneath (Tamiya Polycarbonate paint). Can you say, "BASHER BODY!"

Ordered the metal shocks. Should be in by weeks end, Good Lord Willing. Any suggestions on shock oil weight for these shocks?

Got it up to 56mph. Kyosho Fazer Long Run2 edit 56mph on 3s LiPo, 5400kv Brushless & 35t pinion and Foam tires a MUST at high speeds. Sorry for the cutoff angles. Camera was pointing downward.

That thing scoots right along! I know some folks may think 56mph isn't all that fast, when they hear speed runners talking about doing 170mph in their 6s and 8s rigs. But in a smaller scale car it is trickier to steer and harder to see. I'm impressed. :thumbs-up:

More to come. Just recorded a new video today. Bashing at its finest.

Finished editing video. Using the Camaro basher body. And I do mean bash. Installed the 36t pinion on the brushless system. Goes really fast! Check out the video.
