It is getting there. I didn't bother to start building it till about 3 days ago. As mentioned in some other posts, this may be about as close to a shelf queen as I ever get. With the weather, and knowing I would drive it, I put off getting started till now. There are some really interesting features and ideas incorporated into this truck. Not the least of which is this hold down for the rx side of the battery cable....designed specifically for a deans connector. Works for me since that is what most of my batteries are anyway.

I "drove" it in the house yesterday... enough to check the motor going the right direction and see that it all works anyway. Mashed it to full throttle for a second.....I think I have chosen my setup almost perfect for this truck. Actual use will prove me right or wrong. Its gonna be a good time though.

Shocks on this rig are a threaded aluminum body with plastic cap. The front have spacers to limit travel, but otherwise the they are same as the rear in length and spring tension.

They do have a bleeder screw for making everything super easy...which is awesome!! The supplied fluid has a label that says 350#. I looked online 350cst is equivalent to 30wt. By eye the 30wt I have looks thinner. Since I had my doubts about having enough to do all 4 with the factory stuff. I have 350# mystery fluid in the back, and traxxas 30wt. In the front.

The design is 1 that I can install and remove the battery without taking the body off. Which is good since with the roll cage it is not 1 that comes on and off with ease. My layout of the electronics is a bit different than suggested, but it still allows for access to the on off switch without removing anything either.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!! This is awesome. Just got back inside from ripping around the yard. Most of a 5200mah battery and the motor never got above 70f. Top speed is not crazy. Torque is good, throws a light roost of grass every where it goes. Handling is amazing!! If a trophy truck is your thing I think this 1 is worth a hard look. I had so much fun out there I forgot to get any video....it will happen soon. Now I have to figure out the paint...

And then moved to this set up with the single spare.

I like where the rear suspension sits better this way. The handling is awesome. I have 2 cement posts in the yard that are certain death if you hit em. I can run around them with complete confidence with this. There was never a feeling like you weren't in control unless you were deliberately pushing it to find out where the traction roll point is for speed in a corner etc.

Id like to have one. I like the grille with the square headlights but I like the round headlights more.... if we can just get the round lights onto the grille with horizontal lines we would be in business.

Looks like a fun place to rip all sorts of RCs at!!!
That place is like a giant rc playground. What kind you bring dictates what trail you should take. This spot has more sand and dry dirt than most. Some spots have great crawler opportunities. There's some wet stuff you could toss a boat in etc.
