OK, last night on the way home from work a Smart Car turned into our lane in front of us and apparently I started laughing.

Mrs. Doom said: You always do that.

I said: I always do what?

Mrs. Doom said : You always laugh when you see a Smart Car.

I realized she was right, I can't help it, they look like clown cars. No offence to anyone who owns one, but I can't help myself. I just picture about ten clowns crawling out of a smart car.

i don't find them amusing unless they're wrapped like a Little Tikes Cozy Coupe. which iv seen at least 5 times. so it's kinda loosing its charm.

I really did think that it was my distaste for Elan bubbling over but I guess not!
I hope ALL those comedians, errr... drivers understand that its the truck ( and them) that I'm really laughing at.

The Tesla trucks make me chuckle, but because it was such a huge marketing and money raising success for Elon. I mean get people to pay up-front for something like that... people are weird.

Directors put their new Lambos in movies for tax write offs... wrapping a car and getting paid to drive is a good idea too!
Redbull used to pay ppl to wrap their cars and advertise for them too.
I'm not sure if 'Smart Car" is the image RedBull is going for tho.

I have definitely seen a few Redbull ad vehicles around Denver. They like to park them at ski areas for events and such.

I used to work with RedBull. Advertising is at least 50% of their product!
I used to set up sound systems on the sides of mountains for their ski events and such.
They were CONSTANTLY promoting something!

I met Redbull skier Michelle Parker when I went skiing in Haines. She was skiing lines above my level, that's for sure! They are still very active doing stuff like that all over the Colorado ski areas.

One of the guys in my group was a lobster fisherman from Maine. He went down to the docks and talked to some of the guys during one of our down days. Next thing you know we're eating fresh king crab that was added to a chopper trip out to the boat just for us. I think it's the best meal I've ever had. His Mainer accent is the thickest I've ever encountered. He was hilarious and quite a good skier.
