Thank you! Definitely a headache. Was an unfortunate event but in the end I think I made out awesome. Being in NY they still use salt on the roads and it rods everything under the car. So having everything replaced is honestly the best thing that could happened. They said it will be in the shop for minimum 10 days. Luckily my dad will let be barrow one of his cars for a bit until mines fixed up!Glad you've got that all sorted @AjDale ! That is stress not needed. I did just about the exact same as you with hitting a rock I thought I would clear, but did not. It was in my Mini Cooper too. Luckily, my landlord at the time had a car lift in his garage. We put it on the lift to inspect everything and damage was on the minor side, I got lucky.
Daaang! Glad I’m not the only one that has hit a rock… definitely got lucky there was minimal damage! I do wish it was minimal but like I said I may I have made out like a bandit on this one
