You can do some cool stuff with laser engraving. Some of Merlin Enright's work.

Of course there are traditional scroll, snake,fishscale patterns as well..

I read that, and the next three posts before it hit me. Doom!'s wife is sick of waiting on stupid doctors, and is cutting that kidney out herself with a laser cutter ... ... !!!

Yeah, tell your other boss to buy me one too. I want that one that 3d prints, prints 2d graphics, cuts vinyl, engraves, and cuts through carbon fiber. Bonus - it cuts bugs and other pesky creatures in half while you act out a scene from The Three Stooges
