I met Redbull skier Michelle Parker when I went skiing in Haines. She was skiing lines above my level, that's for sure! They are still very active doing stuff like that all over the Colorado ski areas.

One of the guys in my group was a lobster fisherman from Maine. He went down to the docks and talked to some of the guys during one of our down days. Next thing you know we're eating fresh king crab that was added to a chopper trip out to the boat just for us. I think it's the best meal I've ever had. His Mainer accent is the thickest I've ever encountered. He was hilarious and quite a good skier.

I've been all over the US... my accent has always given me away!
Mine is still more Boston than Maine I think.

I was a decent skier when I was young. A few car accidents and many years later, I still enjoy heckling someone who can't figure out a T bar ski lift.

OK, last night on the way home from work a Smart Car turned into our lane in front of us and apparently I started laughing.

Mrs. Doom said: You always do that.

I said: I always do what?

Mrs. Doom said : You always laugh when you see a Smart Car.

I realized she was right, I can't help it, they look like clown cars. No offence to anyone who owns one, but I can't help myself. I just picture about ten clowns crawling out of a smart car.
