Thunderstorm just came though and started several fires. Here we go again.
You guys are getting hammered this year, hope this doesn't become the norm.

Still hot here.

Yeah we are and I've mention here before that I hope it doesn't start up Mann Creek because thats where
we go play in the forest.
Scanner said they just shut the whole area down and are evacuating.
Archery season opened up here Saturday and there is lots of people up there.

The Rock Creek fire we can see from the high school, that's how close it is.
I'm 15 minutes from Mann Creek.

This really sucks, my summer was shut down because of my lungs and bad smoke
and now the start of my Grouse season.

That's a bad combination 😕

Well, it's September, and I think fall is officially here in NH. My favorite season!

Same here. Seems winter is trying to come early this year. I noticed the leaves turning on a few trees already. Something that never happens here til October. I know this, because our yearly covered bridge festival comes in October, and they time it with the turning of the leaves. Pretty strange weather this year.

We drove up to Midvale hill a little bit ago and from you you can see the top of Mann Creek, Rock Creek, and Jenkins Creek by the way the crow flies but aside from very thick smoke, I don't see any fire.
I heard Steck park is on fire also and that is one of our campgrounds we use often and it is west one ridge over from Rock Creek.

Yup. Maine got the news that summer is over. Thermometer said 47 last night.
Its 70's now but it was actually chilly!

This summer was weird. Temps blasting to record numbers and a good amount of rain and now its FALL. Trees starting to turn yellow and everything!.

Still 100° at 8:00 tonight. Had to dust the ashes off my car this morning, yes we still have fires here too.
Sorry about the blurry shot but I was driving. Last night, smoke in fornt of the sun.

Don't worry you suck too! 😜

We are at 104° today, but I think Monday might be back down to 98° 🤣
My sister in LA sent us a shot of her car's outside temp: 116° on the highway. She did get relief once she pulled into her garage, which was 103°.
