I wanted to make a scale rope bridge for the SCX30, I saw someone on here doing something like this and I decided to give it a go..
Bought a packet of 100 (Amazon), 30cm x 7mm birch wooden dowels..
For more details, because I didn't want to create double posts for the same thing, I've continued this post on my SCX30 journey thread..

I truly didn't want to start a separate thread for my SCX30, but I know I'll have too many pictures to post in someone else's thread, so I'm just going to post my entire experience here 
Mine finally arrived yesterday OMG it's tiny..!! how can this thing be any good I asked myself.?
Only thing I've done to the truck so far is paint the headlight and tail light buckets chrome (lights are now brighter) also painted inner lamps amber..
My SCX30 life so far..
Earlier that day I received my supplies to make the now infamous aluminium tape and cloth rock course...
