that beater is the best ford ever produced! gave 300 for it 8 years ago 4x4 and everything but the heat, ac, windows, sunroof, back door latch, back window latch, rear defroster, rear wiper, rear doors (child lock stays on wont come off) bad wheel bearings, drains battery if not disconected when done, trailer hitch weld busted so can't use it, hood wont latch down fully ( but it stays closed it just wobbles), radio comes on on its own and wont go off untill vehicle is turned off, door locks dont unlock but they lock, bad shocks, no suspension ( we call it the bobble head suspension, when you hit a bridge you dont stop bouncing untill about 5 miles past the other side), antanae decides to just go up n down on its own, sometimes doesn't want to come out of 4x4 mode, gas hand doesn't work gotta guess based on gallons added vs miles driven, none of the dash works so no idea on speed, using newspaper to keep windows wedged shut,
but other than that it runs great!
its hit a lot of things but mostly on purpose lololol

Pretty much like brand new then! My Dad had one that did the same thing but had more rust.

Its 4° above absolute zero and will remain until June.
It gets up to low 20s for a half hour but its been so cold that everything is frozen. The ground is frozen. Its cold to walk on.
Even tho the temp says 20, the ground is colder.
The temp SLAMS when it gets dark!

My sister in Woodland Hills has been without power since early this morning. Luckily, she has natural gas, so she still has water and the use of the stove.

LA is still on fire, but she did get power back.

Yes. Since the huge snow storm-ice lock down a few years ago, they stepped up their trucks, plows, & salting equipment big time.

Funny how the weather patterns have COMPLETELY changed in recent years. I have been an avid weather nut since I was a kid. Weather systems used to follow the jet stream across the US, from California. Now, every time we have a bad storm it's coming from Texas. That is probably why you guys are seeing the weather changing in the lower states, and needing to stock up on snow plows.

We have seen it here too. When I was a kid, I don't remember a single year we didn't go sledding. And every year we had to pack down the snow for the sled to make it down the hill. Now kids are lucky if there is even enough snow to sled on.

It has been about 12-15 years now since we have had anything more than a couple inches at a time, and never any more than a few inches accumulation before it melts.
