We spent Christmas in Georgia in a cabin one year. Left Indiana at 60°. Got to GA and it was like 30° and a foot of snow.

No, it was when my son was little, and he's 12. He was 1 maybe? We were up in a cabin in the mountains north of Atlanta.

Was 17F when I left for work this morning. Up to a balmy 22F at 10am. Starts to wear on you after a couple of weeks, and there's no end in sight. Might be a single day of 40 deg weather coming up, but of course that's on a weekday. Everything is frozen. Might have to do some icefishing or something

That's gotta be when it was. It was a really nice cabin. 4 BR, split level, off the beaten path, through a security fence, then up a very bad road about 100 yards, and down a path through the trees that I thought for sure was taking us off a cliff in a minivan
