Last night i updated the firmware on my DX6C using the Spektrum PC programmer. so it can now use the SLT protocol that comes in a lot of Horizon Hobby's RTR's. So i can buy a Losi Nascar 1\12 without having to swap out the system for a more expensive system with dedicated receiver i now can just bind my DX6C right to it.

Here it is.

That's cool, I also heard that this update also works for the iXSR and the DX5 Pro (Possibly the 2021 model). I plan to get an iXSR some time late this year or early next year. (BTW: You have to make a Myspektrum account if you don't have one i didn't so i made one also you have to register your transmitter to get the update and download the Spektrum PC Programmer).

I noticed that. I have the program card & the ESC updater, Smart Link already. The TX are separate.

I was able to update mine using the PC programmer and a USB C to C cable since i had one although you could use a type a to type c cable. The DX6C's now have a USB-C port on the left side of them under a cover you can pop off.

Shock day for the Losi XXX-SCT. Had to spend 2+ hours cleaning things first.

Cool, That looks like a Pro4 SC10, Is it?
Yep! Look at my recent new thread ;)

Getting to the diff in the Baja was probably the biggest pain in the behind I’ve ever dealt with. So many parts had to come off just to get to it… But, it’s done. There ended up being some silicone oil in the diff, so I didn’t even really need to take it apart. But, I went ahead and topped it off with some 30k weight.

Whoever built this in the Rovan sweatshop needs a raise. So. Much. Lock tight. I thought I was going to break tools on a few of these screws.

Fixed my broken shock
But I have a piece I'm unable to put back on I'm frustrated.
The piece that going through the cap to keep it stable?
It won't push back through
I've tried with the shock pliers and it just shoots out

See @Xraycer - we do have a drift car 😁

This has been in the box since Christmas. Time to turn some wrenches on it while I wait for parts for other stuff. The MST RMX 2.0 is being born.
