Well, won't be doing a build thread, or showcase, or putting it on my owned RC lists, as it isn't mine. Technically its a free loaner or rental car from one of my buddies. He says I can have it for the time being as he has over 50 RCs and needs some space so. I said, sure ill take it. Holy moly this thing RIPS! SOOO much FUN to drive! Ill post the link once he uploads the videos of my driving it on the track.

Team Associated Pro4 SC10
Hobbywing 10BL120 G2 SD esc
Discontinued Hobbywing SCT 3656 (I know, odd size, but it works) 4000kv sensored motor. He did say it has some internal wiring issues so I just got to be careful on that)
Savox Black Edition SC-1267SG Servo - super fast! Set at 7.4v right now, so.
ProLine Positrons (worn down to slicks) tires for the track. Doesn't even need the grippy compound. Already grippy enough!
He also gave me a CNHL 6600 2s stick pack with it although I can use those same packs I have for the slash.

The front bumper is cracked and he tried to repair it with hot glue but failed, but who cares? Not me.
He also added custom made by him Carbon fiber side rails which are nice.
Man, 4x4 SCT is heavy!
I drove his Tekno 410.3 last year and I was ripping it. And I sent this!
4x4 SCT is so much easier to drive than 2wd!

So yea, that's that!

And then not even a few hours of the rental, I started to mod it. Lol.

oh yea forgot to note he runs flysky and he had a flysky receiver already in it so I just bounded it all up to my NB4+, just had to update the RX and I was all set! Just have to set up some settings now.

that's not a traxxas, are you going to know how to operate it properly? :stick:
Lol I also have other non traxxas cars ya know  🙃 🤣

Oh no hopefully traxxas doesn't get memo of this

Great looking truck, I looked at one of those for a family loaner truck although i'm not sure what parts support would be like for one of those Pro4 SC10's. Also looks like it used to be the brushed model it seems to resemble a HCG Slash 4x4 a little bit.

I just picked up a Flysky Noble NB4+ for my mini-z's...thing feels great in the hand and I love the interface. I'm just starting to figure out it's capability, but I 100% wouldn't mind using it for a few of my micro-crawlers in the future along with the mini-z's.

I've been into SCT's for a long time since fall 2010 i've owned 4 Slash 4x4's and 2 Slash 2WD's. I still my Slash 4x4 Ultimate that's now Castle powered here she is.

Body off. Now with the Castle Copperhead 10 ESC and 1415 2,400kv motor combo i originally had in my Hoss but pulled to put into this truck.

She also now runs on my Spektrum DX6C which isn't pictured but that's what i run her on now. Originally ran her on my old Futaba 4PM that i still have but don't use too often anymore then my old RC8X before i sold it for being the worst new radio i ever bought.

So, let's talk about this "free loaner" Associated short course truck that you have possession of. If you were like me, having driven rear motor 2wd SCTs 'forever', that first pull of a 4wd SCT was like the best feeling.
