Man, the paintjob on that wing and body is sick. I wish I could be a fly on the wall when you were painting an RC. So much to learn.

Thanks brotha! I really appreciate that. Believe me I have so much to learn too! I just wanna get more proficient at specific things (that unfortunately only come with experience, and repetition), keep working hard, and hopefully keep getting better!

Swapped out the OG +0 studded shock stand off’s for the new “bolt in” NB48 2.2 +0, and +2mm standoff’s front, and rear, and rather than button heads, went with 12.9 Flatheads and Ultimate Racing m4 countersunk washers. MUCH stronger design, looks better imo, and doesn’t catch everything under the sun… The body, dirt, your fingers when grabbing it in the pits for fuel, etc..

Added the aluminum shims in the inner rear camber link location. I’ve been running w/out, as I couldn’t possibly see needing them, or having any noticeable benefit. So we’ll see if there’s any change..

Ditched the CVD axles in favor of universals front, and rear. Also upgraded to J&T Bearing Co. rubber shielded NMB inner axle flange bearings at the hubs. Less weight, less CONSTANT maintenance, and better bump handling, not as upsetting when the truck finds a rut on the track.. Downside is they’re not rebuildable like CVD’s.. However-it DOES cost money to rebuild CVD’s, soooo… Better handling, lighter, arguably faster, and less constant maintenance it is..

Moved over from the stockers to lightened 7075 wheel hexes… Because “look at me!”? +4mm on the front axles, and +2mm out back..

Put some Injora Swamp Claw tires on a new set of Treal beadlocks for my red Redcat Ascent 18.

Just needed something flashier than the plastic wheels it came with. Orig. On front, new wheels on rear for comparison.

All finished, you'll have to forive all the cat fur in the photos, Houdini the hobby cat decided it was a good time for a sideswipe.

Also assembed six more stands for my mini crawlers.

Built two 6s Arrma diffs. 500k center. Arrma aluminum polished case. 40k rear, Arrma aluminum case. 4140 Ram Jam outdrives. Mugen diff shims. Waiting on parts to build the front.

It’s been a bit… I’ve been so swamped with work and “stuff” I haven’t had much time for RC. Weekend before last I did a major service on my daily jeep. It had some leaks that HAD to be dealt with.

I did a rear main seal, transmission cooler lines, recharged the AC and a full transmission service. I was pleasantly surprised when I pulled the rear main cap off and got a look at the bearings. Engine has about 180k miles on it and they look nearly new! That thing is good to go for quite a while!
