Had to put together the new firepit table I bought on black friday. Would have been nice if it hadnt started raining like 60 seconds after i cracked open the box to do the build but it was the last day on accuweather for a 59F day so I figured I better do it so I dont have to freeze. Just need to pick up a 20lb propane bottle for it now.

Coming home from work, Thursday afternoon, something solid struck my hood and then my windshield. Put a large sunburst crack at the center base of the windshield. So, I took Friday off to get it replaced.
The install took about an hour, and afterwards I went to a really large inventory rc shop since it was nearby: Hobby Etc. I picked up 3 sets of RC4WD 1.0 pressed steel wheels, a set of Mud Slingers, and a set of Super Swamper Boggers.
The Super Swampers went on the Jeep, and the Mud Slingers went on the red Deadbolt, with the rims turned into a deep dish set-up. Combined with brass hex extensions, the red Deadbolt has a huge, wide stance, and also added a lot more weight down low!View attachment 139249View attachment 139250View attachment 139251

Your new name is crawlermaniac

Couldn't help myself and installed the widemaxx kit tonight 😂. She's a wide girl now. Kraton 8s exb and my other xmaxx with extended hubs(not sure the width). Works out good too, both steering links were bent and and cracked arm. The kit also makes it sit higher than regular xmaxx too.

I didnt know you had a K8 too now. How do you like it?

Got the '67 Mustang body trimmed and holes marked and slightly reamed for our stash build. Also printed up some rear mounts for the Pro-Line body mount kit to angle the mount back 5° to better match the window profile. Gonna finish sanding the edges today and hopefully start on some masking.

Already got the front dialed in. Front body mount is tilted farward 2° to match the hood profile a little better.

Not sure yet 😂 it's a exb roller. I will say, all the parts are very nice it's a very impressive RC to just admire haha. I gotta figure out power. I might take the castle setup out of green xmaxx and put in the kraton. Then out a hobbywing max5/1100kv setup in the xmaxx..

Black on part of it. Probably a candy green as well. Not real sure yet to be honest.

As stated above, its painting day.

Attention whore red in gloss, flat greyish black plastic looking trim. After paint she goes to body.

Yesterday, I received some upgrade parts my SCX24s. So, late last night, I installed a full set of extended axle shafts/stubs onto the green Deadbolt. Also added brass extended hexes, a front brass diff cover, and different wheels and tires(RC4WD steel wheels and Scrambler tires). It's got a serious spread now!
I've also been running it without shock springs. I think I kinda like running it this way, since this rig is more about rock crawling rather than trail running.

On this Xmas Eve morning, I installed brass steering knuckles to the Jeep. Decided to cut off the fake shock reservoirs, and flipped the shocks upside down.

Nice mods, I was thinking about trying the upside down shock trick too. So you like it?

Wow. You went with the extended axles and extended hubs? How is the steering like that?
