Hell we still have fun with ours 😂
I have a Tmaxx tucked away in the garage. Mine was whooped before I got it, so I can't say it was never good. I just know how underbuilt it is, combined with the hassles of nitro, I have zero desire to mess with it.
The Xmaxx and Hoss are pretty solid performers, E Revo 2.0 is a disappointment. 6s power system and size, built on 1/10 components. A fail IMO.

I have an E-Maxx these days, quit the nitro stuff ages ago. It is a fun truck, but not as bash-worthy as some of the more modern models.
Thought about converting the Tmaxx to electric, but I already have too many projects I can't afford, LOL. I shouldn't dismiss the Tmaxx, it has a loyal following. I just got spoiled by lipo powered brushless, too easy!
Nowadays I'm trying to find ways to make my K8 a track machine. Tires are a real challenge I'm finding. Along with weight reduction. My bro just picked up an XRT. I had no problems outrunning his O8 on track, but the XRT is a contender. Really nice driving truck considering it's size. I don't think the Gravix tires/wheels from the XRT could handle the weight of a K8 even if they did fit. But the Gravix tires do really well on my clay track..

I run the Gravix tires on my Xmaxx, really like them. I've been switching back and forth between DTX Dinero 1/5 SC and some GRP 1/6 buggy tires/wheels on the K8. The Dineros are beadlocks, which have held up amazing to the K8, but greasy on the hard clay. The GRP are light, grip pretty well, but getting shredded by the weight and power.. the DTX have been discontinued sadly, seems I really missed the boat on the 1/5 craze of 10 years ago.

that the original with .15 engine?
a buddy of mine in high school had one and oh damn did i hate that truck. didn't have enough power to get out of its own way. changed directions like a aircraft carrier. the ez-start failed so it got parked. he finally worked his way up to a decent steering servo and .21. he paid me $5 to put the servo in, which i fought with but don't remember why. it then proceeded to start breaking suspension parts. and i don't remember why but went through a faze of stripping spur gears. for probably a good year it was the truck that never failed to fail. we used to out bash him with stadium trucks. he eventually got mad and stopped hanging out with us. i have zero good memories of that truck

We’ve had great luck with our Maxx , Stampede and MT10. Super fun and fast trucks. The Maxx is bigger than the other two. All run great.

My son was looking at one called the Bog Hog last night. Looked interesting.

This is so subjective as stated beforehand. I have 2 super clodbusters that are very different from my erevo 2.0, traxxas stampede 2wds, tamiya 6x6 school bus. My granite 4x4 3s bxl, the list goes on. It really just depends on what your looking for and how you want to drive.

Didn't have the budget for a losi lmt so I made my granite look more MT with more aggressive wheel and tires and a custom painted gladiator body
