ProbodyRC Russia burns people when he's not in the mood to make bodies. I've been burned by him before and the last body I ordered from him he burned me on. He has a partner in Belgium (TorreshopDesign) who sells on Etsy. He's slow but dependable.
I have had 2 from Probody via Torreshopdesign, without issue. Probody themselves never even replied to an equiry so...

In the RC world, 'scale' is more of a suggestion than a rule. 🤔
Agreed. Been this way for 25+ years or longer..

Being as both of those pictured are only a “Monster Truck” because the manufacturers say so, it’s a moot point. The Arrma isn’t even CLOSE to being a “Monster Truck”… Truggy layout, truggy chassis, Truggy body, Truggy wing mount/wing, etc.. -The Tekno at least has a more appropriate track width to wheelbase ratio.. Scale? Let’s not even go there-it’s been a constant pissing contest lacking any actual rulebook for decades, and don’t even bother looking at the ROAR book…🙄

The Big Bear was a legit MT.. So was the Savage. LST. -and the T-Maxx.. The last time we had any close to “scale” sized 1/10 MT that everyone would agree on (provided you weren’t born after say 1990) was the Clodbuster, and it’s wheelbase was a whopping 270mm… 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s gonna depend what school you’re from.. I personally was involved seriously in the hobby at the time the first legit truggy’s came out (and even had a “Prototype” as many here are aware of). They were born from progression & necessity-as all the available MT’s brought 90% of the new enthusiasts into the hobby, but soon was apparent that they were all absolute JUNK. Yes, complete GARBAGE. I thoroughly enjoy building, hopping up, and maintaining my vehicles, but when I go out to run them I wanna actually RUN THEM. I do not want to spend 1 hour driving, and 5 hours fixing them because they suck. Most other people that actually progressed in RC in 2004ish felt the same exact way. People saw the durability, capability, and ease of maintenance of the 1/8 buggies, but wanted the bigger, more animated drive of their constantly broken MT.

Ditch the silly model specific/proprietary chassis layout (that varied from manufacturer to manufacturer-Revo, LST, T-Maxx, Savage, Genesis, etc.), trash the failure prone “transmission”, plop in a proper center differential, narrow the track width, add some length for stability, and better handling.. Add a proper wing mount, and wing; The Truggy was born.

Now it sure seems we are going the opposite direction, and taking a TRUGGY, and shortening it, widening it, ditching the wing, etc, slap a proper pickup truck body on it, and boom, now it’s a “monster truck”? Ok then-if you say so.. 🙄🤷🏻‍♂️🤣

Run whatcha want, but don’t bother with the pissing contest. Who cares what scale it is-they’re all different from brand to brand-vehicle to vehicle.. Just have fun with the thing, that’s what it’s for.

I am a big fan of Tekno, and for good reason. I will say this though-under no circumstances was it a good idea to release the self proclaimed “King of the Monster Trucks”, and fill its diffs with PLASTIC parts. Or a plastic SPUR. There are no clutch shoes, slipper clutch, nor mechanical brakes. I’m honestly surprised the spur, and ring gear lasted as long as they did in the Amain torture test, from having that much power, and driving like a complete NOOB on ASPHALT. 🤷🏻‍♂️🙄

0 offset. The truck looks like a crab with the 1/2" adaptors.
For me the attraction of the MT48 is that it's smaller. With smaller trucks there are just more places to drive them.
Ah ok i did wonder. Personally, i like the old Desperado wheels with the offset, looks mean!

I ran the Desperado wheels on my MT410 till they stopped making them. I always thought they had the right look for the truck.
I bought som

100%!! I think MT410.3 plus the Desperado/badlands was the best looking truck out there! I bought some NOS of them off Egay recently, but they got lost in the post, gutted...
