Tekno RC introduces the new MT48 2.0 monster truck

He has driveshafts the thickness of bailing wire and he's landing his truck on cement. I don't see that being a lasting relationship.

I've already tried 6s Backflips on my MT48. It dramatically improves the truck's stuntability but kills its handling. With 6s Backflip wheels it steers like a Notorious. With the smaller wheels its backflip rotational speed may be slower but the truck handles so much better.

What are the shock lengths eye to eye. I haven’t even looked at the manual but I know they dont give you those dimensions.
Never mind they are the same as the eb48.

It looks like Oktay has made some skid plates for the MT48 2.0, but it doesn’t say what they’re made from. Strangely they’re not listed on Oktay’s own website.
Maybe it's not a new product, it's just compatible with the MT48. I think the MT48 needs a full length bash bar. Not necessarily a super M2c thick one though. With those you might as well screw 2 chassis together...

Not sure exactly what? 🤷🏻‍♂️😂 You order a new MT kit @ferrebee88 ???
I also got the tower to tower brace, aluminum servo horn, and some mud guards. I got the kit for $500 on the Tekno website because of military discount and 25% off the other parts.

Now that I have some mileage on the MT48 I give it five out of five stars.

I stole the Copperhead 6s wheels off of my Sledge and they're winners too. With a 16t pinion the motor didn't heat up till the end of the second battery pack so I'll say the gearing is right. The last mod will be drilling out the motor mount so I can use 4M button screws to hold the motor on. The truck is a winner.

Glad to hear! I was really thinking of using the copperheads or the Backflip LPs
