Traxxas continues to discontinue...

I'm assuming you're referring to the new MT410 2.0, and not the original MT410. The 'problem' I (and many others) have with the 'new' MT410 2.0 is that it really isn't an "MT410". While the new MT410 2.0 is a "true" 1/10 vehicle, the original MT410 was actually 1/8 scale (even though it was marketed as 1/10). The original had an adjustable wheelbase of 323-335mm, whereas the 2.0 has a shorter wheelbase (I don't know what, exactly, it is, other than it's definitely shorter).
No, I was referring to the original MT410. IDK why they even named the new one MT410 2.0 because its not a 2.0 of the original. Its a different rig imo now.

Exactly. I am hopeful they will be bringing out another 1/8 scale monster truck in the future. Maybe they are trying to get away from the mislabling of the MT410? It really sucks though because I really wanted to buy an MT410 kit to build.

I may add a Tekno MT410 2.0 to my stable, but with eyes wide open... I think it is a less-common wheelbase for an off road speed/basher type truck (but the same as the 4S Outcast, IIRC). At 12.3" it is longer than the Hoss/Granite/MT10, but shorter than the Maxx/Big Rock/MT410.

They discontinued the hoss.
They sure did, i have a Hoss myself although they replaced it with the Stampede 4x4 BL-2s and the V2 Stampede 4x4 VXL which are based on the same chassis as the Hoss and the Stampede VXL 4x4 V2 they have new prographix bodies and the Extreme HD Kit which includes bigger driveshafts, bulked up suspension uprights and different shock towers. I myself see no need to buy them since i already have a Hoss which essentially is the same thing as those new trucks i mentioned and i put all the slash ultimate parts and a Castle Copperhead 10\1415 combo in my truck.

I still have my OG stampede 4x4 kit somewhere... it's in pieces so it needs a fresh rebuild and put back together. speaking of which, my Mojo GROM, Rusty 4x4, SCX24, Associated RC10T3, Associated SC6.2, Associated SR10, RC4WD TF2 midnight edition, and probably more all need to be rebuilt and fixed

Cool, I used to have a G1 Stampede 4x4 VXL but it eventually became parts for another project at the time that i sold off to a buddy of mine earlier this year. I'm currently in the process of rebuilding my XO-1 which i have owned for over 2 years and is my 2nd oldest car i bought new next to my Hoss. It looks like you have quite the stable of RC'S i have of course my XO-1 then my Vendetta, Felony, Outcast 8s EXB, X-Maxx, Hoss, Slash 4x4 Ultimate, B74.1, AK-917 carbon at the moment.

I have a Hoss as well, it was my first plunge back in to the hobby, and as such it has become a favorite.

I'm a fan of the Traxxas 1/10 4x4 models and think their new Extreme HD parts are a welcome change for that platform.

My Telluride will have them.

Well. To add to the long List of disappointment: All versions of the Rustler are gone. No 2WD, no $WD and that makes me sick to my stomach. With the Right mods, that was a hundred MPH off-roader. The biggest thing I had issues with getting it to that level of insanity was tires. I had to find radial offroad tires that could take it with out blowing up. Just really sad to not see it on the site anymore. I own a few, built for different purposes (the 100+ unit is a baja knockoff for sand and dirt) and now the parts will eventually dry up and they'll be expensive paper weights. Maybe its time to buy a CNC and 3D printer.

The Rustler is gone? As in discontinued?

The rustler couldn't be discontinued... It's been on the market since the 90s. I'll be surprised if they actually discontinued it...

Parts for it shouldn't dry up for it either bc it's been out there for almost or is 30 years.

Well that's weird, I see them all alive and available. 2wd XL5 and bl2s, nitro rusty, 4wd bl2s.4wd VXL/ultimate They're all on there. ?

The only one I don't see is the rusty 2wd vxl, not sure what happened to that one. But you'll be able to find parts everywhere and anywhere for eternity. No doubt. Traxxas isn't like TLR/Horizon that discontinues parts for that model when a new one comes out.

I love the "$WD" part of the post. Had me chuckle a bit even if it was a typing error.

Yeah, I'm not buying it. I'm sure the Rustler is a top seller if not the top seller in their 1/10 scale lineup. 🤷‍♂️

Get in touch with the company and asked them what's going on.:thumbs-up:

I just checked with Traxxas. Of the 6 Rustlet variants, all 6 (including the Nitro Rustler) ARE still in production. Checking AMain Hobbies, the same holds true...ALL are listed. The only 'exception' being that the Rustler 4x4 VXL in red is currently backordered on AMain...but, IS in-stock direct from Traxxas.
