the jig I sent is able to hold motors too it looks like I think i’ll get it because at least for me it seems to be easier to use
Can hold the motor but it’s also handy to have something that can hold the wire on the terminal

ordered all of this just now, 2 receivers from hobbyking never heard of them before lol hopefully I receive 🤣 but my slash is coming tomorrow supposedly the only thing i’ll need for it is battery maybe? idk i’ll have to check it before I plug it in to anything any ideas on how to check a lipo without setting it on fire?

Plug it into your charger, check on the cell voltage and the internal resistance, well depending what charger you have.

They also cell cheap cell checker / low voltage alarms like these and they are pretty good. But I prefer to go by the charger for reading IRs.

I always solder motor tabs installed where it’s gonna live. I’ll do the esc on the bench, tin the wires for the motor tabs, Tim the tabs, and toss it in the car, and solder it up..

$59 with the coupon is a no brainer, I just want the body.
I'm sure the pickups sound terrible and the neck profile is far from what I like but
again, I just want the body.
Not sure if the pickups are Alnico or ceramic and I prefer Alnico.
The bridge is coil split.
The guitar players know what I'm talking about.
