I blame @Doom! , @WickedFog and 3 glasses of whiskey for this purchase.

They arrived and as you said @Doom! they are very sticky. The brass rims are VERY heavy. (Of course they are, Warby, you idiot ). I mean they are heavier than I expected.

@Doom! Before I mount the rubber. Did you use the supplied foams? Are they soft enough? Did you trim them?

Yep, I used the factory foams as is, they work well.

I'm hoping to shoot a groundhogs eye out. Durn rascals. I got a bit by a lonestar tick last year. Groundhogs are known to carry them. I got lyme disease & was very very sick for two weeks. The police dept already killed two with poison. Still got one. I want it dead.

"What did you buy today" thread...... ok, this is a "dang near bought today" post.

Went to buy some freeze-dried food for a trip this weekend at a large camping/hunting/fishing store I had never been to before and spent about an hour drooling over this and talking to an extremely knowledgeable former airborne guy. Somehow I managed to leave without buying it. I was amazed at how light it is. Was contemplating this for every-day carry to replace the .380
