Picked up this NIB 160A Firma ESC for $120. I have no immediate use for it but for that price I wasn't about to pass it up. I'm sure Ill find a use for it eventually :)

Picked this RX8 gen3 plus 2250KV Truggy motor combo up for $140. The motor bearings need to be replaced as they have some grit build up in them but I've taken the motor apart and aside from needing new bearings looks to be in good condition. RX8 functions as it should and technically the motor still works fine too but with grit in the bearings its only a matter of time before it destroys em.

On a side note I think Tekin's decision to start using white plastic instead of black was a bad move. The white case of this RX8 is stained from running on red clay. I tried to clean it up but its not having it. I'll probably just order a new case for it when i order new bearings for the motor. This pic was before I cleaned it up obviously :)

Decided to give these Tindling 3S Lipos a try since someone in the forum recommend them and they were having a sale.

Bought this HW 4500kv brushless motor to convert my Losi mini -T 2.0 to brushless. The existing 6000kv dynamite motor seems to me like it would be complete overkill. I will probably use an extra Tekin RS speedo I have laying around to go with it. The aluminum wheels I bought for my drift car build. I found em on sale cheap on Hobby King

Bought some 8AWG and 10AWG wire plus some banana plug connectors for various current and future builds

The hard body is something new to me so we will see how that goes. I may have to add some brass wheel weights to keep her down.
The other body is a SCX10 platform I built along with the kit I built using all the parts I have laying around.
The beauty of crawlers is the fact the possibilities is endless.

That body is bad as*. You got to love the extra parts accumulated over the yrs. That's how I built the T/E maxx. Only had to buy the castle combo and lipos. I love the parts bin 🤣🤣🤣 can't wait to get the TRX. I hope to get it this weekend or next. Already looking at parts to get so can just put on as I build.

Grabbed my first upgrade for the SCX24.

Grabbed some tack glue for the foam for my crawler course as well.

Grabbing the Treal front diff cover and probably some wheels and the high clearance links for the SCX24 in a week or so. Got to get it ready to tackle some obstacles. I am afraid if I setup the obstacles with the truck stock they will be way too easy once I upgrade the truck.

Extremely addictive hobby but we all love it.
I'm waiting on a few parts to finish the Tmax that my sister gave me. It's coming along nice. I hope it runs. The engine was pretty gummed up but it's nice and smooth now with lots of compression.

A four pack of Muscle Milk caffe latte protein shakes for my usual breakfast

Some melatonin gummies, and a new natural sleep aid that I haven't tried yet

Two extra strength five hour energy shots since I found out at 11am I have to do a site escort at midnight tonight

And three boxes of CCI standard velocity .22lr.

Awesome can't wait to see a video or some new pic after the clean up. That motor is the best traxxas built. Did the piston head look ok? Or all burnt to hell? But If you got great compression and it's smooth with no ticks or other issues.I can't see that not firing up bud. That motor runs best on 20%.
Oh this RC hobby is very addictive. And tons of fun driven or wrenching. I can't get enough. It's like therapy for me to work on them. Usually in the garage at 5 530am Sat sun doing something with them. LOVE IT

Yes the piston looked fine. It was just really gummed up is all. My guess is whoever had it ran it and didn't use any after run oil.
I can spend all day and every day in the shop working on RCs and the wife loves it. ;)

That's awesome. So does mine because she gets to do what she wants LOL. Alot of people don't know how to take care of their RCs especially when it a nitro. Or any sort of mantiance of them

That Tekin combo is a good score. Get you some Rit dye and dye that esc cage black or whatever color you want 😉

I bought this conversion kit for it also.

Oh you converting it to ele? The 2 speed is awesome sounds so good when it hits second gear. Nothing like it. It will just scream like it needs to shift now. You will see what I mean bud. Was there something wrong with tranns grears?

Not that I know of, I've read several articles about it being a bit fussy with the reverse and eventually I would like to go electric.
