so my 9 1/2 mile morning commute just took me 50 minutes!
the city is still working on repaving both streets at the end of my street so i got to navigate that maze. then got stuck behind a city truck going 37 in a 45.
then got stuck behind idiots taking there kids to school. idk why taking your kids to school is so damn confusing but please remove your head from your butt before getting behind the wheel.
finally cut over to another street and got stuck at a light at a crosswalk cause school zone.
finally made a right and the next intersection is completely blocked off by cops. traffic accident apparently. judging by the number of cops and the street being blocked and the road flairs, I'm guessing maybe a fatality.
so i make a left into the neighborhood and holy hell was that a mistake. wound my way through the maze of suburban hell only to get stuck in a 1/8 mile long line of cars trying to make a right turn. no joke i sat in line for 10 minutes, went less than 100 yards and based off the amount of traffic and sheer stupidity i saw in front of me turned around on cul-de-sac and went back the way i came. only to get stuck behind 2 idiots who even with the street blocked off and no traffic coming still couldn't make a proper right turn.
go back the way i came, make a left, go back the way i came, make another left onto another street and take that to work.
then when i got to work there's a van in my parking spot. and to make that even more inconvenient the Safetykleen truck had showed up to swap out our solvent so it's blocking half the alley which made backing into a parking spot inconvenient.
so that's how my day started.
I would have turned around after half of that ordeal and went back home. Maybe someone is trying to tell you today is a sick day 😉

commute home wasn't much better.
3 times i got stuck behind ass draggers who didn't know how right turn lanes work and it caused me to get stuck at red lights.
got stuck behind an oblivious idiot in a left turn lane that just sat there through the entire green and only moved forward after the being honked at.
after turning that corner i got stuck behind a guy who didn't know what driveway he needed. doing about 25 in a 40 zone.
got stuck behind an idiot who didn't know how green lights work and would drag the brake and slow down every intersection and side street. so i said screw it and made a right. next intersection i had to drive on the wrong side of the street for 50 feet to get into the left turn lane because idiots leaving 20 feet between them and the car in front of them.
got stuck behind another person who didn't know what driveway they needed.
then got stuck behind someone going 40 (being generous) in a 45. fallowed by getting stuck behind someone to afraid to make a right turn with no traffic coming.
so anyway i eventually got home, fell out of my truck, kissed the ground and I'm not leaving the house again today.

todays commute was much better. only got stuck behind one idiot going to slow, who then made a right but was afraid to turn even with no traffic because of road construction. you sit back and watch these people and just wonder how are you a functional human? monkey's would laugh at you. just sayin'

I used to drive 70 miles each way to work. A semi trucking company owner friend of mine once told me the stretch of interstate I drove was considered by truck drivers to be one of the most accident prone stretches of pavement in the country.

The things I saw over the years of driving that highway would baffle the minds of most folk. Semi trucks in trees wasn't uncommon. One day there were 4' sheets of sheet metal shooting out the side of a box trailer like playing cards in 70mph wind. Apparently a pallet inside tipped, broke the banding, ripped the wall out of the trailer, and began dealing sheets of death at vehicles behind the trailer. A sheet sliced through the windshield of a Chevy truck in the lane to my left. I was directly behind the semi truck when I noticed huge sheets of metal blowing by. And I was just about to pass the semi when I saw the sheet hit the Chevy. Had I gone in front of that Chevy, it would have been me facing the guillotine.

I could go on for days with story after story of crazy chit that I saw happen.

I gotta love where I live, I can go on a 5 mile bike ride and never see a vehicle other than parked.
Yeah, that would be great.

Having another OCD moment, I went to dust my pc with a soft make up brush and a small air blower, and it went fine, but when I built my pc, I left the plastic film on the outside of the glass panel, and I had my fingerprint on the film, and not the inside part of the glass, so I wiped it off and now the film has scuffs on it. I'm so OCD that I OCD about the OCD to begin with. At least it's not on the glass though which is the important part.

On a completely different note I was pondering and I should upgrade my ESC from 80A to 120A on my SK. Oh joys my poor wallet. 💸

That's because it's hard to drive on lily pads! :p

M-F, I'm up at around 4:15am. So, during the weekend, I typically wake up around 6am. Which I actually like, because I enjoy the quietness of the house and I like getting the most of my day.
As a teenager, I know you don't quite get this, but perhaps one day, when you're middle aged, you may.

Yea my uncle wakes up at 3:30. I hear him pass by in the mornings.

But on vacation he usually wakes up at 6/7 (we mostly go to Myrtle Beach) and he cruises around

There you go kiddo. Go tell them your vast knowledge of RC's and put in an application. If you need a reference, shoot me a PM
I can give you a referral as well......but, you'll probably not get the job though 🤔
