Years ago, I was picking up my kids from day care. While waiting, I started talking to a dad who had some sort of trade business I was looking into potentially hiring at the time. He hands me his business card, and all he put down for a name was, Bruce. No last name? Maybe this is the new norm and I'm just old fashion, but I am not hiring anyone that won't disclose their full name.

He probably identified as part of the Hello Barbie Summer collection figures.

My morning rant...This damn hobby is too addictive!!

I woke up to pay my bills and when I got to my credit card where I put all my utilities to earn points...and where I also put my RC purchases...I was shocked...who made 4 trips to Hobbytown in August and who the hell ordered, not once, but twice from Injoura in a week...and also to Furitek? If I catch the a**hole I'm going to tell him, "I bet that's going to be a sick build!" lol - GO DAWGS!

I've done that more times than I care to count. The only comfort I can give you is that once you're 25+K in to the hobby you'll slow down a bit because you already own most of what you want and all you need are spares and upgrades, lol

I rarely go on eBay or do anything with PayPal any more. There's too many finger pointing and run around to resolve issues.

I've had more than my fair share of issues with eBay, but I've never had a single issue with PayPal, and I've been using them since 1999. I will hardly buy from sites that don't take PayPal.

I've had to have PayPal step in on multiple occasions. Never once have I had any trouble getting my money back.

While I always prefer to buy American, the 2002 Toyota Tacoma I had was the best car/truck I've ever owned. I've driven nothing but Toyota's ever since (except stupid Camry's because I use to have to drive a lot). My next vehicle will be a truck and more than likely, a Tacoma or Tundra.

My issue with GM is this mega push for no right to repair.
My issue with Ford is they tried to charge me $26.00 for a single pice of tin clip that isn't worth more than the $.25 they paid the small asian child who made it.
The kicker to all this is that they are sold, package BY FORD as a package of 4.
NEVER AGAIN! I've put about 100k on this car since that stunt. I have purchased 1 set of SVT strut and shock from Ford since that day. IF Bilstein could keep stuff in stock, I would prob have spent the extra $ on the cup kit and made it fit.
Anyways, 100k , $400. How'd that work out for you Ford? Asshats!

Honestly, there isn't a single new car that I'm even remotely interested in.
I will restore my old, non or basic computer run dumpsters into the ground before I spend $50k on a computer on wheels that I DEFINITELY CAN NOT FIX, that has a $3,000 light on each corner of the car and that WILL receive a "final update notice" from the factory rendering my $50,000 investment, a giant paperweight.
Just a thought... How much does it cost to dispose of a lipo?
How much do you think it will cost to dispose of a hazzardous wastemobile???
If junkyards can't resell the parts, the ENTIRE car is just that.
Some good news now though...
The seal I don't need anymore at NAPA has come in!
Day late and a dollar short kids...
Oh yeah... I ordered the seal with Paypal.
Cancelling should be super easy now!

Everything is getting more expensive because of all this unnecessary BS theyre p[utting in vehichles now and its just that much more crap that can break and cost you money. The uConnect system in my Challenger started acting up and when I looked in to getting it fixed I was told that it would be $1800 + labor to replace the unit and only the dealership can do it. I was like yeah screw you people. I have GPS on my phone and I learned how to back up without a camera so stuff it!

Couldn't agree more! I am quite content with manual windows and locks. (The power top is a nice option)
Even my 84 Deville, as loaded as it is, the car can function without any assistance from the "computer".
Its there for the fuel injection.
Perhaps I should bring this down to the dealer as a demonstration? We can ALL learn how windows go up and down without bluetooth, wifi and Meta Apps.
My 30 year old windows have functioned FLAWLESSLY without a SiNGLE UPDATE!!!
I would LOVE to hear how and why ANYTHING more complex or expensive would ever be needed! Hell, my Coronet is as old as me and the manual windows work perfectly too...
I just will never understand the need or want for a laser guided, wifi assisted, speed controlled, heated, self adjusting tint windows that cost more per door than my entite first car cost when it was new.
Its even more satisfying when all this AWESOME tech is brought down on stage in front of the world!
Elon's Cyber steel ball window test was a confirmation of every car manufacturer's rant I've had for like 10 years!!! Lmao!!!

Kodi from the Google play store. Research it. Tons of YT vids about it. Don't install stupid builds. Just install the Crew addon, Ghost addon, and Mad Titan Sports. With those, you can watch anything you want, any time you want. Just finished watching Deadpool & Wolverine (terrible btw).

so my 9 1/2 mile morning commute just took me 50 minutes!
the city is still working on repaving both streets at the end of my street so i got to navigate that maze. then got stuck behind a city truck going 37 in a 45.
then got stuck behind idiots taking there kids to school. idk why taking your kids to school is so damn confusing but please remove your head from your butt before getting behind the wheel.
finally cut over to another street and got stuck at a light at a crosswalk cause school zone.
finally made a right and the next intersection is completely blocked off by cops. traffic accident apparently. judging by the number of cops and the street being blocked and the road flairs, I'm guessing maybe a fatality.
so i make a left into the neighborhood and holy hell was that a mistake. wound my way through the maze of suburban hell only to get stuck in a 1/8 mile long line of cars trying to make a right turn. no joke i sat in line for 10 minutes, went less than 100 yards and based off the amount of traffic and sheer stupidity i saw in front of me turned around on cul-de-sac and went back the way i came. only to get stuck behind 2 idiots who even with the street blocked off and no traffic coming still couldn't make a proper right turn.
go back the way i came, make a left, go back the way i came, make another left onto another street and take that to work.
then when i got to work there's a van in my parking spot. and to make that even more inconvenient the Safetykleen truck had showed up to swap out our solvent so it's blocking half the alley which made backing into a parking spot inconvenient.
so that's how my day started.
