saw an "endless nights" license plate frame on a newer Honda Civic hatchback this morning (also had a big "stay humble. say less, do more sticker in the back window). then remembered how popular endless nights was like 20 years ago and how long it's been sense i had scene or heard anything about it. been so long in fact i can't even remember what the hell it was all about. i just remember tuner cars...

my rant is i let my wife talk me INTO a nap. just woke up at 12:00 am..... slept 4 hours. now I'm up the rest of the night for sure... guess whos gonna end up doing bored cleaning... guess that"s the good part.. that or i doom scroll for 4 hours like a zombie.....
i hate even a ten minute power nap, it throws my whole cycle off kilter.
most of my projects are on hold waiting on mail. which was a whole other rant but I'm not getting into the mail drama.
everyone's asleep and I'm just wired for sound but gotta be silent lol

I turned 50 in January. I feel your pain occasionally. NEVER used to have to pee during the night, even though I'll drink water all through the night if I wake up parched.

Me too. 50 on January 30th. Now it's either sleep all night like a rock, or wake up at 4am & can't fall back asleep.

I'm a little bit annoyed. Ordered some parts for my Nitro Sport restoration from a HS on ebay which I've been using a lot recently. They seem to stock a lot of old discontinued parts.

One of the orders was over a week ago but it still hasn't been posted. I have ordered more from them since then and they too haven't been posted. I gave them the benefit of the doubt even though it says they will ship within 1 business day.

I contacted them yesterday to see if there was an issue. He replied that they don't have one of the items in stock.

Why did it take over a week for them not to tell me and why did I have to contact them? Why did they hold all the other parts and other orders? The other parts would have arrived by now if they have of posted it on time.

Bad communication and business practices from the seller. I will still use them but it is disappointing.

And they still haven't been posted

Facebook shelf-queen copy cat culture.

Dude shares picture of his shelf queen with new shocks stood straight up and down (it’s a crawler). Out of pure curiosity, I asked if the shocks rubbed anything if placed in the rearmost upper holes to lay them down a little and improve performance.

To summarize his response: “I have a fully custom front end (“fully custom” being some aluminum bolt ons and a different servo mount), I have 600 likes…I know what I’m doing and you’re a clown”

I admit, I’m a fb troll… sometimes. This time I was actually just asking a freakin question because I might want to try those shocks!

I notice that too from time to time. Some of the smaller hobby shops don't have their inventory and counter sales tied into and synced to their website, and rely solely on manually updated data there. I have been given that excuse more than once, and it makes sense. A lot of the mom and pop shops just have their kid or a friend build their site for them, and/or don't pay the big bucks to have it all tied into their in-store sales.

I ran into this about a month ago. I think they may have posted a too good of a price to lure people in.
