Okay, ya got me, LOL. Though more often than not Tekno shows a model with a Tekin system installed. I have no doubts that they are top level, millions can’t be wrong, right?

Yes, that is what he is referring to.
The Tekno kits I've built come with sway bars, but they also offer a bunch of optional bars (different thickness, etc),Hoping someone can help because I'm a bit confused (as always).
I want to order the front and rear sway bars, but the manual isn't super clear. On page 24 it says you need TKR9017B but that part is already listed on pages 5 and 6, so is it already in the box?
The same goes for part TKR1601. It's listed on page 24, but it's also shown on page 16.

Honestly, the first upgrade I'd order are the aluminum shock caps. I have those in the box with my other Tekno kits, so once I start building them, they will replace the plastic.
When the OG 410 was out, I priced one out at $1200 or so if I remember correctly, with no upgrades. And that kit was a bit cheaper. The MT48 2.0 definitely doesn’t include the sway bars, unfortunately.
I’ll have a look and see if they have aluminium shock caps available. One of the YouTubers said it might also be worth adding the aluminium shock collars.
I shudder to think what this RC is going to end up costing![]()

Was gonna say the sway bars aren’t a big deal, at least not to me. It’s a basher, most of the time we’re running on loose terrain where it hardly matters. That’s about what I’m expecting! I’m already about £900 into my Kraton 6S v6 since stuff breaks fairly regularly.
Tekno said that adding sway bars is pointless unless you’re running on high grip surfaces. Since I’ll be using it exclusively on grass and gravel, I’ll probably skip them.
Not annoying, but absolutely should do a build thread. If I'm being annoying, or if I should start my own thread, please let me know
Will the TKR9433 – Rear Arm Mud Guards stand up to the abuse of stones hitting them? One of the places I run has some large'ish stones and they destroyed a set of nylon mud guards that I had on my Kraton in no time. The M2C carbon replacements have held up well though.

My thoughts are this at a minimum:
Hardened steel spur (without question)
Aluminum shock caps
Aluminum ride height adjustment collars
Aluminum/steel steering rack bushings
Proper ALUMINUM A, B, C, & D blocks
Titanium turnbuckles from ACER Racing (you spec them yourSELF, and order singles, or pairs. LIFETIME no questions asked warranty)
Titanium skid plates from Tekno Ti
4S Badkflips
Thanks. I think I will create one.
I've got the aluminium shock caps + collars in my basket already, and I'll add the aluminium steering rack bushings (TKR5122).
According to the manual, in order to upgrade the A,B,C,D blocks, you need to purchase a lot of additional parts and the cost becomes silly. The stock parts are composite+steel so they should be sturdy.
The Tekno Ti skid plates would be very nice! Unfortunately they don't ship outside of the US. I'm sure in time M2C will make some.
4S Backflips are a no-brainer![]()
As far as the blocks go-just watch them. Depends on how hard you are on your stuff. There’s a reason race stuff comes with 7075, and RTR’s come with stamped steel-it’s not the weight either. Like I said-just watch them, and if you end up opening them up-you can replace them with the tougher 7075 as needed.

My apologies, I went with a Monster 2 /1515 combo instead.I’ll hold off until thenFingers crossed that it fits because I can’t find the Castle Monster X in stock anywhere here in the UK.
Does it not come with them?Yesterday I spent $600 bucks on the kit, today I spent $700 so I can drive it. RC, got to love it. The only hop ups are steel X diff pins and the gears that go with them and a steel spur gear. All the rest is just making the truck work.

The MT48 comes with plastic X cross pins in the front and rear diffs. The center diff comes with an all steel interior. The truck also comes with plastic hinge pin retainers similar to the SCT410.Does it not come with them?
