Got the new Proline black wheels and tires on last night and got a run in while flying at the field today.

Cool, It's been raining where i'm at for the past couple of days so i haven't gotten out again. But if you have read one of my posts i did order a few parts for my Rlaarlo AK-917 a week or so ago.

Also ran the pro4 accidently through water and realized most of these electronics aren't waterproof so I went and dried it off lol. Also have a battery for the slash to use tomorrow

Cool 2WD Slash i used to have two of them but sold\traded both of them. Since i tend to like the 4x4's better and since Arrma's new SCT's are out i might get a 223s Senton 4x4 and make my old Slash 4x4 Ultimate a loaner truck.

Once i ran my 22T through water once with race electronics and luckily didn't fry them. Those same electronics are currently in my B74.1 today, another time i ran my XO-1 through water once with Radiolink system in it and it fried the R8FG receiver so much for being IPX4 rated on the product page.

Just got back from a walk. Time to do a tire rotation with these Hyrax tires. Just want them to last a bit more longer.

Also I thought about getting led lights or led bar. Idk it would be cool to have them but for the track since I do mix use this car, might not be the best. I have a couple options if I do. Could run via receiver although I only have 4 channels. Run via external battery or run direct 8.4v with my main battery by soldering extra wire too my bullets. Note I run 7.4v on the receiver now and I think most LEDs max out at 6v?

Since I don't plan to track or race this soon might put the old 3660 back in bc of the speed and torque.

Those Hyrax tires look cool on that Slash of yours i've pretty much always ran stock tires on my SCT's but i did put a set of Proline MX43's on my current
X-Maxx since i blew one of OG stock tires. Also ran a set of Proline Trenchers on my Stampede 4x4 v1 brushless once but sold them. I tend to keep stock tires on my vehicles if they're good enough for me. But on my Race buggy i've always used Schumacher tires since i race carpet locally.

I've never run lights on my cars since i don't run my cars at sundown or in the dark. Some of my cars run 7.4V becs like my Max 6 G1 and my Max 10 SCT i also run my X-Maxx at 6.0V on the Firma 160 it now has and my Outcast has it's set at 8.4V since that's how it came from the factory. And that's one thing i love so much with Spektrum receivers they can handle up to 9.6V vs my old Futaba receivers which at most could comfortably handle 7.4V. My old Radiolink Receivers claim 12 - 15V but most likely they wouldn't.

Yea i got these set from @Serea71 . He had them as display tires on a set of wheels. Saw that one of the YT channels I used to watch, RC Knockout (he doesn't post alot anymore), used Hyrax's on his Slashes and it looked cool plus PL sadly discontinued Hyrax SCXLs (thanks Horizon...) so to me its pretty nice to have them. Before this set of real offroad tires I was running TRX anacondas to death lol. still have them as a burnout set for fun lol.
Thinking about picking up cheap set of TRX BFGs on Jenny's so i can use them at the outdoor dirt track this summer. As the Hyrax's are pretty tall.

I remember RC Knockout Nolan's a good guy talked to him a few times it's sad he's not posting a lot anymore i used to love his content. Nowadays i mostly watch Razor RC and some of Jason Perrin's older videos as well as other channels on YouTube some RC and non RC related.

After fixing a couple of the tires (sections coming unglued) my Kraton is my track prepper. I use the heftiness and power to break up the top layer of compacted dirt.
