I made it out to Rhythm rc for a practice day before the season starts. I ran my ebuggy and etruggy, this was the first weekend I’ve ever run a etruggy. My ET48 2.2 was awesome, it might end up being one of my favorite rc’s to drive. I took a short video of the track but I can’t figure out how to post it.

Looks like you had a fun bash with those 3. Which trucks are those i can definitely recognize the Outcast 6s, maybe a Kraton 6s? and a Sledge possibly? I used to have an OG first release Sledge. Here's mine.

Cool, my Sledge was perfect in box stock form but i felt hard done by it and i should have bought a Kraton EXB 6s which is what i'll get someday. I thought of another Sledge but i'm not sure if it would be a good idea vs a new V6 Kraton 6s EXB. Right now i'm focused on getting a Super Clod Buster and next year will be when i get my very 1st Nitro RC which will be a T-Maxx 3.3.
Out of the box the new Kraton EXB is a better truck by a lot. After you aerospace grade the trucks and over power them the Sledge is the toughest truck at the dirt park. The Sledges gear boxes can handle considerably more power.

Cool, It's raining where i live and it's supposed to snow a little overnight. That's cool you finally got out with your beautiful Limitless v2 and it went almost 74 mph and you can see on that DX6C although i would suggest getting a sky rc or Powerhobby GNSS GPS i have one myself. And yeah i guess the Firma 160 amping out is to be expected since it's no Castle esc like an XLX2 or the new Cobra 5. I have an MMX8s in my XO-1 and it performs awesome although i have a Firma 160 V2 like yours in my X-Maxx and soon going have one for my Outcast 8s EXB. There great ESC's for bashing but probably not speedruns with higher kv motors. Not to talk down your setup just something to consider. Also that's a really cool Arrma Outcast 6s i wish they were still making them all they have now is the Notorious which my guess is that truck with a different boy.
I built the Outcast from scratch. Custom wheelbase chassis. I lasered it & re-welded it. I have a SKYRC GNSS. Not a very stable unit. Takes 12hrs to charge & lasts 2. No place in a Limitless for one & the satellite signals are subpar. The telemetry module in my Limitless is an X-Bus type, directly ported to the receiver. No charging required & always gets satellites. Pretty cool. Nestles in the rear wing mount perfectly w/o tape.
Cool, I have the Skyrc GPS and i have no problems with it and none of my receivers have that xbus thing in them and i never really liked the older AVC receivers since they don't work well with Castle ESC's but that's just my 2 cents you do you and be happy. I have now 2 SR6200A receivers in my Felony and XO-1 and it turned out that the SR6200A just barely fit in my XO-1 small receiver box although i know that the Limitless\Infraction\Felony have way bigger rx boxes that would fit the SR6100 and SR6110AT receivers. I also recently bought another SR6200A for my Outcast since it's basically the same one as the new V2 RTR one is also cheaper if you go on eBay and buy one that is pulled from a new RTR vehicle.
They're good ESC's many speedrunners use them i have yet to fully push mine. You can always save up for one in the future if the Firma 160 doesn't quite cut it in the long run. The one in my X-Maxx runs super smooth and efficient with the stock motor also bought another one for my 8s Outcast EXB.
Sounds like a plan before you drop some $$ upgrading to an MMX8s, i'm planning on either buying a new Cobra 8 for my XO-1 and dropping my MMX8s back into my Felony or buying a new MMX8s for my Felony. It's either that or i might buy a stock combo for my Felony but i already have the sensored 1717 1,650kv motor that came with my original MMX8s that's now in my XO-1. Do what you want to do i'll be sure to follow your journey with your Limitless build.
