Had the feetech and it was just alright till it burnt up! Then got the dsservo pro. The pro is straight trash! With esc set to 8v it won't turn the tires in low grass. Any suggestions? Modded TA MT10 with traxxas max tires.

My Power HD 40kg HV handles 8.4v. & big Notorious 6s Backflip tires, 6.8" tall, no problem. Blue or red. Only difference is the gear material. Very quick.

I have the red one. A-40CHV
The blue one is a WH-40.

Me and my uncles go to race kit servos are xpert 4000lv servos. Plenty of torque and speed. But they are only low voltage servos though. Have one in my race buggy and does pretty well.

I will agree with @332_RC . Power HDs are pretty nice from what I heard.

Good enough for me. .. Sold.
Thanx
And they aren't as expensive as some other ones at 100plus & are robust. I have a 50kg Power HD in my Kraton with a solid JBI servo mount & it will flex the chassis. 40kg is plenty. I've popped the steering link off the ackerman ball twice the 50kg is so strong & quick.
Yes, set your endpoints.

I prefer direct power servos in that application. Anything 1/10 or bigger I really like direct power. For about $60 the flash hobby 60kg on amazon or nsdrc budget servos for about the same price.
Most of those amazon servo are junk, they are rated for a decent number then they perform like dog poop.

I'm very interested to see where this goes.
I want to buy a Reef's for racing but I'm gonna need a good servo when I upgrade the Gorgon's system.
I don't want to go with 'cheapo' amazon stuff. The servo is burried in this thing!
Def watching!!!

I put a Power HD 23kg in my Gorgon. And a GPM 7075 servo saver. Yes, it's a pain to swap all that, but it changed the whole things characteristics. Had to file slightly on the plastic servo top like 0.010"-0.015" to get it to fit down in the chassis slot. But it was snug in there. Won't budge. It's upside down & I reversed the switch on the radio. Worth it.

That's snug in those pics! I gotta try that honkin' sway bar too!!! Thanks for the suggestion on that servo!
Your Gorgon is a BEAST!
And the swaybar works really well. Not just there. I tested it without the shocks on, & it does pull the opposite side up when compressing the other. Running, I can tell it helps tremendously with nose dive. Added that 23kg servo & it drives much better.

If I can't buy a gearset for a certain servo, then that servo never makes it onto my wish list. That's one reason why I never bought any of those DS Servo servos that are seen everywhere.

How tight do you have the servo saver?

Yes I set the endpoints.
Depending on whether or not the RC is suspended off the ground, and bump steer... the inside steering block/spindle may be at it's limit at different parts of suspension travel when setting endpoints. Probably not enough bump steer (minus slop) to worry about, if using servo saver, but with bigger tires pushing/pulling on linkage... dependable 💪 servo is needed.
