Yea the guy you replied to is my buddy. We've been talking about this issue since earlier this year.
Banned both of my accounts and I ain't making another one just to keep getting banned everytime so we all are done with this company.

Wow it's that rough? Once next month comes around i will probably sell mine although it's against my better judgement. If it sells i'll put the money aside for my switch to Spektrum early next year. I might also make an advisory post or video about the RC8X and Radiounlink as a brand as well as their practices.

Yepers. Didn't get more rough till they started banning, suspending, not replying, deleted comments and blocking people. Which started last week.

A LOT of rc8x radios have been posted up on marketplace. My buddy said. Due to the issues getting more known, and getting more wide spread. Just like I have hoped. More reports to cpsc more chance we got to get this shady and ignorant company being looked into. But I don't get my own chances up for that happening. Idk.

Yeah. That's what radiollink tells users. But it's their fault they messed something up in the software and hardware lastyear. .

(Cause that is what radiolink customer service always says and denies their own faults.)


But a little update. Most rc8x radios I seen on marketplace are mostly just sitting there. Well that was last time I checked it about a month ago. Radiolinks official help group which is managed by radiolink, they had turned it to private so who knows if these issues are still going on. But I wouldn't chance it getting one of their junk radios again and dealing with their nasty attitude. Me and my buddy that basically ran the uncensored version of the radiolink group on FB, we just deleted it because we all decided to officially move on and not deal with them anymore.

Been happy with my current radio systems / combos (flysky/Futaba) and will stick with them until they become obsolete in the technology world. I can actually trust them and drive further out without any worry. And other brands customer service actually is wanting to help people and solve users issues and questions.

Maybe one of these days I'll make a video and post it on my channel and hopefully notify people about these issues. But it hurts myself thinking about this brand so I probably won't. But yea that's a last update from me as I wanna move on.

Thanks for mentioning me, I was effected by this virus and i'm now starting to move on to my next radio once i have enough receivers for my new radio i'll probably sell off my RC8X then hopefully move on from this unfortunate mistake. But remember i wouldn't have known more about these issues without your help and honest thoughts.

Yes. DumboRC makes radiolink/ manages radiolink radios and customers. DumboRC handles most of radiolinks production and assembly of their products.

So with that, if you contact radiolink, they would have to contact DumboRC reps which who then would have to contact DumboRC techs and then contact radiolink techs back to work with each other. No wonder why it was a long process of them trying to help us out. Because radiolink actually doesn't make their own radios and can't fix their own products without DumboRC.

Which apparently DumboRC doesn't do anything to fix the radiolink issues.

Crazy isn't it?

At least all the other honest companies actually make their own stuff, fix their own stuff and help their users out instead of piggy backing on other brands like I mentioned.

Rc8x. Looks like the futaba 7 or 10px right?!?. Assuming Futaba is mad about that making it look identical/ alike.

Edit: could be the other way around. Just depends who came first. But overall they are piggy backing off of each other which is one cause of these issues.

I think Dumbo is owned by the same company who owns Radiolink and i remember their earlier products were actually great and they had best in class range but as @DavidB1126 and i found out that the RC8X has abysmally short range in indoor racing or in city neighborhood driving situations. I also think the rated range was tested in absolute perfect no interference situations like in the middle of nowhere country. Also i agree with how it likes a cheaper Futaba 7PXR or 10PX clone but to me now it's a 10PX you could get off of Wish. Banggood, Aliexpress or a counterfeit Chinese company advertising 10PX's but this is the Radio you get in reality. Sorry i had to LOL, Edit\Update: I have officially now discontinued using my RC8X it's all packaged back into it's case along with all the accessories and all the receivers i still have for it awaiting to be sold off i'm officially done with it as soon as it has sold.

Hi everyone, How's it going? i know this is an old thread but i just put my RC8X up for sale on Facebook marketplace so i hopefully soon will be ridden of this unfortunate Radiolink curse and the money i get if it'll sell will goes towards getting more Spektrum receivers for my DX6C and my future IXSR.

Here's the listing provided Radiolink themselves don't force me to remove it and try to bribe me for a 2nd chance with their faulty and lackluster products. I also linked back to this thread for my boy @DavidB1126

The end will hopefully be near for my RC8X as well as my relationship with Radiolink and their products.

Thanks so much, I'm hoping it will sell in the next few days or weeks or maybe next month and move on from it and hopefully to a happier future with Spektrum or maybe Flysky if Spektrum doesn't work out hopefully i'll stay with Spektrum but who knows what the future will hold for my hobby as well as the RC community as a whole.

Thank you, I wouldn't have known about the RC8X issues without you as well as be able to make the decision to sell it and move on like you did. I'm hoping that my move from Radiolink to Spektrum will be worth it in the long run and hopefully i won't land back to where i was with Radiolink in the future.
