Leonard and I are in the same boat! 🤣
I heard about that Dumbo RC DDF-350 but it only has a 10 model memory in it versus the 20 of my DX6C and the 40 of my 4PM. I also realized i should have probably censored their names before i posted but i forgot.
Yea don't get Dumbo rc. Radiolink makes them and they have the same issues / failure rate. Id happily take a old school Futaba over one of them lol 🙃 😆
Well said if i could i would just stick with my 4PM it's just i want certain features and i now know both Flysky and Spektrum have them eventually i might sell my 4PM once i have my iXSR. Even though for the price of the iXSR i could just get the NB4+ and butt load of receivers but i already chose my path with Spektrum and they seem to be reliable enough nowadays but time will tell how my DX6C will be or even my planned future with the iXSR will be.

I sliced the coax antena clean off the side of my Spektrum 410 receiver a couple weeks ago. 🤬🤬🤬
Now I have a 4 month used, 10 year old DX4C radio that still has the stickers on it. Its PERFECT!!! And I'm prob gonna shelf it for an MT12.
The radio is everything I want, a bunch I would need to grow into (No crawlers here YET) and its none of the spyware Google trash that I WON'T buy.
For me, the MT12 is perfect and then some... 😍

It finally happened and as of this morning it's gone!... My RC8X finally got sold on eBay last night after someone gave me an offer for $170 and i just went to the post office this morning and got it shipped off. So it's finally over... The 2nd worst radio i have ever owned is finally gone for good!

Here's some pics.

Now i'm officially done with this whole radiolink virus and now i can move to Spektrum who will hopefully be more reliable and least likely to glitch out as bad as the 8X ever did. Let this be my final reminder to people who are looking at buying this radio or any other Chinese knockoff brand radio you most likely will get what you pay for and if you're not careful as i was you might get scammed or left with a semi defective product with little to no support from the company that made it. Trust me if you cheap out to this much of an extreme like me and @DavidB1126 did you'll most likely regret it when shopping for a new radio make sure you go for a reputable brand like Flysky, Futaba or Spektrum or even Radiomaster and they should treat you right. What Radiolink did is what i would consider a complete disservice to this hobby by selling broken half defective products like the 8X.

Don't hold back! Tell us how you REALLY feel!!! 🤣🤣🤣
My girlfriend was looking at me like I was crazy! Just busted out laughing @"virus"!!!
I'm glad you are free of a sadness!
I hope the new owner has better luck with the system as well!
Congrats! 👍🏻

Yeah i hope the person who gets my old radio has better luck with it and won't be asking for a refund. I'm just happy that i finally got it sold after almost 2 months with it up for sale and i can finally move on with what i learned for this experience and hopefully make better and wiser decisions moving forward. I already have plans for the money once i get the payout from eBay i'm going to finish rebuilding my XO-1 next month.

I sure have been busy lately with RC's if you haven't seen i put my XO-1 mostly back together and ordered most of the parts i need to fix\rebuild it. i'll be finishing up the rebuild next month i just need driveshaft parts, a couple of 6x12x4mm bearings, diff fluids and a Spektrum AVC Receiver.
Here she is, after putting her back together mostly.

I have seen! Impressive! She cleans up well! 😍
I enjoy the builds you post but I'm really hoping to see "running" videos!
Hopefully someday! 🤞🏻👍🏻

I'm glad you like the builds i do hopefully sometime next year i can get either a low budget action camera or a gopro and other recording gear so i can film running videos of my cars. I'll also be posting updates to the build thread and showcase for my XO-1 once she's also rebuilt.

I'd like to follow along with that too.
I would like to try to film some of my antiques in action! 🤣
I don't have any gear. My concerns with the overly invasive companies and aps apply here too.
I'm interested to know what your experience is as you go! 😎

One of my classes today, the lesson is about customer service. Had to write something that included good customer service or write up a bad experience and how they could have improved. Of course I had to do this cause this whole situation was the most memorable lol

384/10000????!!!
You gotta add a lot of "Hear ye, hear ye" and "let it be known"s... kids these days! SMH!
I've even included a few verses of Stairway To Heaven in some of my longer essays!
You gotta keep these instructors on their toes! Make sure they are paying attention to your progress! 😉🤣

Pretty good start there I'd say!
Did your instructor have a RadioLink too??? Extra points!!! 😎

I just comment on stuff like that to tell people and get the issues known. Don't want to see a person getting a faulty and bricked radio, if they do pursue radiolink, only a matter of time when they can cause damage or injury and potential stress headaches, like I had! 🥴😐

Reporting a misleading business practice – Radiolink. I apologize if this approach (FB..) seems excessive, but having found no other way to be heard, I feel compelled to make this situation public. My intention is not to harm, but simply to ensure that this matter is addressed seriously. I hope this message will raise awareness and lead to a swift resolution of the issue. For years, ads on Aliexpress have shown complete Radiolink radios at incredibly low prices (less than €25), suggesting an exceptional promotion, clearance sale, or end-of-line discount (plausible for an electronic product sold direct, with no middlemen or after-sales service).
❗
Once you place the order, you realize it’s just a receiver – no transmitter included.
I want to warn buyers: these listings cause real harm. You wait for days (weeks) for a transmitter that you will never get.
The Radiolink brand is clearly displayed. The photo shows the full transmitter, and the listing title is misleading. Radiolink claims no responsibility, just like the seller U-Angels and the Aliexpress platform. Each party shifts the blame, leaving the buyer trapped.
I’ve exchanged emails with Radiolink, U-Angels, and Aliexpress (March 2024), keeping all records and a receipt that clearly says “transmitter and receiver.” They cannot claim ignorance.
Nothing has changed. I denounce the extreme difficulty of getting any real response or follow-up.
I personally fell victim: expecting a complete radio, I only received a receiver, unable to practice my hobby for weeks, with no compensation."

I've never shopped on Aliexpress they seem to be a portal to Chinese merchants and they might be filled with scams and misleading listings just like Banggood. It's a shame Radiolink is still committing to these horrid and awful business practices and tactics i honestly cannot recommend they're brand or products not even Dumbo RC just stay as far away from them. And buy radios and receivers from trust worthy brands like Futaba, Spektrum, Sanwa, Flysky or even Radiomaster. Radiolink is a blatant scam company or at least that's what they turned into if you buy any of their radios you'll most likely regret it like me, @DavidB1126 and many others have. I'll say it one more time, Please do yourself and your rigs a favor do NOT buy these immensely faulty radio systems and buy something from a reputable name brand like Spektrum, Futaba, Sanwa, Flysky i would even put more faith into a Radiomaster MT12 vs any of Radiolink's radios.
