Long live the barter system. Shady craigslist deal for some stuff I'm not using...or wanting. I left with rc related things I will eventually do something with. In the lot...some of an old Kyosho Raider. My very first quality rc from way back. I have been stalking ebay a while for it's replacement, and almost gotten a few. Now I sort of have 1, or at least the beginnings of 1 I will probably throw time and money at trying to make it whole again. Neat!

Because you should get to laugh every day....Imagine soldering 1 side of the capacitor to the tab with a drip so bad it contacts the brush tension spring, and the other side you try and solder to the labelView attachment 270434
I will correct this...but holy sh*t

It's already sold pending cash payment. Way better than dealing with ebay, or pretending all online sales using f/f paypal are scam, while those calling it a scam are unwilling to kick in some extra cash for that protection that is so important.

Craigslist is largely dead only because people choose to believe that. In reality, it's in person, for barter or cash where the person buying stuff gets to see exactly what they are getting before accepting the deal. No whining to paypal or ebay. No debating the form of payment. No one ratting you out to pay taxes on the used stuff you sold online. If you are gonna sell something, maybe consider running an ad there as well. I still buy and sell on that site. Usually with more success than than other options and less headaches. The guy I dealt with today was a great guy to deal with. We stood around in his driveway talking for a bit more than an hour. The original trade was not one that was actually fair all around. We managed to reach a second agreement and still got the deal done. I'll be meeting up with him again on Wednesday to finish my end of the transaction. I offered to leave the cars there till I came back. He made the call to let me take the stuff on my word and a handshake that I would be back. I will, and will be throwing in some extras he is not expecting as a bonus. Being a decent person to deal with is rare in this day in age, and I have every intention of rewarding him for it.

I see stuff like this and get all hot to buy a re release, or better, would be to find one like you did. Wish I still had mine from 89' 😔
The cars I've had I wish I still had is a decent list. Ridiculous as it sounds the raider is way up there. It has a sentimental value being the first for me. I had an rc10L and a marui big bear I would still like to have. Certain models I'm ok with having parted ways. The marui galaxy is one. I had 1 of the kyosho motorcycles at 1 point as well that I don't need back either.

Delivered on my end of the trade today on my way to work as promised. Tossed in some extra as a thank you for a good experience. I do love it when everything really does go the way it should. Every one happy with both ends of a trade.
