Update, I chose to pull my Facebook listing and relist my RC8X on eBay for the same price i feel it might sell better on eBay than Facebook and at least it lowers my chances of getting lowballed which has been a constant since i've used Facebook marketplace. Here's some screenshots of the new listing.

Of course there is a tradition i had to uphold of for my boy @DavidB1126 and this thread that made me aware of this radios issues and Radiolink's issues as a whole company. I feel like a broken record every time i say it but i feel Radiolink as a company fell from grace with the 8X with what could have been a mid to high end radio market contender if it was done right but in the end they chose to ignore customer issues, disregard any possible flaws and censor or silence any bad reviews or press. What's even worse they brainwashed one of my favorite Youtubers like Jason Perrin and made him let go of his old trusty and reliable Futaba 7PX for this hazardous and dangerous product then he somehow he calls me out in a comment for being honest about my experience about again this dangerous and hazardous product when i was trying to steer or detour a commenter away from this bad product and company. So now i don't bother watching his videos anymore and i also unsubscribed to him because a part of me knows eventually that radio will glitch on him and send one of his expensive rigs into a tree, curb or worse into a person and will most likely not fault his dangerous piss poor quality radio then try to defend himself and Radiolink as a company. Or if he snaps out of Radiolink's mindtrick and realizes the 8X is a dangerous product hopefully he'll hopefully do the right thing and report this bad product and company.

Radiolink has done a major diservice to it's users, the RC industry and the whole RC community by releasing this garbage product and treating their customers without any respect.

Do the right thing and don't buy\support this no name scumbag chinesium comunist company and buy yourself a radio from a trusted reputable company. Like Radiomaster, Futaba, Flysky, Spektrum and others.

I've had about enough rambling for one night sorry for the huge ramble everyone. I'm done now hope mine sells soon so i can finally move on from this curse.

Just got word of this, drag racers who use radiolink, even with the rc4 and rc6 cannot improve their reaction time because of the latency. One of the posts I read said they cannot get lower than .30 reaction time. 🤦. And they promote the radio as super fast latency?!? Lol

And also the signal issue, it's not just the rc8x it's on the rc4 and rc6's too. Just putting that out there. I have evidence of that too if y'all want it. My old rc4. 400meters they said. Nope I couldn't get more than 200 feet at best out of that. Had that radio drop out before multiple times but it wasn't that severe as the 8x. And not to mention they have other issues like screen issues, hardware issues, flimsy plastic, and more.

From what I have seen on the Radiomaster MT12 (ELRS version), it has a latency that beats the high end Sanwa radios. I'd be curious to hear some thoughts from drag racers using one.

Yea I think I posted on here somewhere but a guy I was watching on YouTube getting into drag had a .10 RT with a sanwa MT5 I believe.

It sounds like he got a couple for free and got all his buds to buy them too. Dunno if they really do work like he says though.
I used to watch his videos. I get the feeling he sold out a long time ago. He started getting a lot of free stuff, and had nothing but good things to say of course 🤪

I agree. He seems "supported" by some brands.
I think I started watching him because of his "Dawn dishsoap" paint job. He SLAMMED that paint on in minutes and it looked GREAT! 😎

I started watching him when we built out Ryft. Shortly after that I started thinking his vids were a bit biased. So I stopped watching him.

I like guys like 2FMRC. He gets a ton of free stuff. But he is not at all scared to tell you some new part is a piece of crap.

I think he was sent the RC8X by Radiolink themselves but many companies send him things. I also watched his video about the iXSR which is how i found out about that radio and decided to go Spektrum. Update on my RC8X, It still hasn't sold on eBay and it's been a month since i posted it.

I've seen a few channels do similarly. Start off strong and sell out or at least seem scared to be truthful.
Obviously not every product is a winner.
The honesty and understanding why they don't like it is very much appreciated too!

I hear Exocaged is looking for a couple... 🤣
Are there a lot of those radios on thebay?

Yea mine I posted back in late April. Didn't get it off my hands until late June. The guy who bought my old radio was a dumb***. He wanted a 50 dollar refund because I glued the back half of the trigger on since it was wobbly and it wasn't going to full brake. While I tested it all before packing it up and it went to full brake. And also because 1 receiver didn't work while again I tested it all and it worked fine. Ugh. Not to mention all of the fees eBay takes out after your sale. I got 100 bucks for mine (not including that half refund radiolink gave me back) so if your still up there for 250. Yea people probably won't look at it considering most prime day and black Friday sales the rc8x is for 255. Plus ideally the only people who are buying these china Amazon brand radios like radiolink are just people into bashing or getting more into upgrading their electronics and are mostly buying new stuff. While most racers have the high end stuff and sell their old stuff to help out a new one into racing and get a newer high end radio. Like what I did cause I thought the rc8x would be comparable to the Futabas but, not.

I keep seeing members post about bad times selling on thebay.
I am NOT complaining here but I've not really had a bad bay experience since early on when a guy tried to scam me for damaged goods but he wouldn't send me pics. I was supposed to imagine the damage.
I sent a pic of money so he could imagine a refund.
Ebay took over and never an issue since.
I think I'd feel differently without paypal though. Good safety net!

Yea I sold other stuff on eBay without any issue with damages or refunds. Just selling my old radio was just the only issue I had. Me personally I don't like to sell on eBay due to the fees they take out making you gain less money on what you sold but... 🤷
