I swore never to buy a used rc again...I just bought a used rc buggy.

Where does everyone find used at a good price? Seems like everything I find on ebay or FB is priced at nearly new prices. Or often they throw on a metal servo and act like used plus that mod suddenly means new prices.

That's a really awesome looking buggy. Now that Horizon owns Pro-Line, don't ever expect to see Pro-Line venture into the RTR market ever again.
I didn't know Horizon own's Pro-line it's sad they had to sell.

I would buy used as long as there is available parts. I follow that same rule with new RC.
but some die hard rc enthusiast "not me" would be glad to restore a discontinued rc they put there time and money into for the fun off it.

That's a cool lookin' buggy, haven't seen that one before.
I only new it existed when i saw it FB.

What was the price, if you don't mind?
I won't give the number but it was around half retail price.

FB is the most popular for rc seller near me.
There is alot of neglected rc's that seller's want to get rid off and i'm not interested in those any more.

Regardless I'm jealous. They got any more? 🤪🤪

Like most 1/10 scale this buggy comes with 12mm wheel hex and i want to replace it with 17mm wheel hex for more wheel/tire combos.
I won't be using a heavy 17mm wheel/tyre it will be as light as a 1/10 scale street wheel/tire just like what i have pictured.

I got this area around the corner and this is where i'm going to use the Pro-line buggy.
There's some nasty obstacles there like poles so i will be extra careful while doing 60.

Not right now but i would buy from him again.

These 17mm hexes from GPM racing will fit onto a 5mm shaft and replace the 12mm hexes.
I have been in contact with GPM racing with a positive reply and they have them in stock and i ordered 2 sets to try out.

I'm not sure if I told you..... but I'm really starting to hate you. 🤣

Sometimes youll come across a good deal on ebay but you have to contantly be hawking ebay to catch them because they wont last long on there if they are a good deal. It will usually be an auction that will get you the best deal. Sometimes though if you find a reasonable seller you might be able to make them an offer that they'll accept.

Other place is FB Market Place.

All you good people in the RC world, ☝️ that ☝️is how a buggy is suppose to look! My guess is the size thing being 1/8 scale-like, but I don't really know why SCB platform/classes never took off. I'd much rather watch window nets & nerf bars go around a track, than a pancake with tires. I kicked myself for not picking up a SC10B when I had a chance.

Great looking ride!

I got this today and it was only a 5min drive to pick it up and it was the only one advertised.
Happy Days!

I favor the vote on banning you. Nothing personal. Just business. 😁🫠 Congrats on your little monster. What motor does it have? I'm big block shopping this year.

This your first nitro?

I second that vote. No single person should be finding such cool deals back to back.

Get ready for tomorrow i got 2 x rc sales ready to pick up and even i'm feeling giddy over them.:naughty:

It' ok to be mad at my new/used Mustang parked next to my other car/truck.:)
It has no electrics in it but it will one day.

I bought this "scrap yard" deal today as well for 200au / 132us dollars for everything.
It does have 2 locked engines but there is a Kyosho v-one there and will probably be a car park Nitro Drifter...awesome.

Very awesome looking buggy! Love the paint job and stance. Anything can be fixed. Often times you will be able to fit other parts on that buggy and keep it going as long as you wish! Tune out all the negative, unhelpful nonsense. Nice find!
I sat the Mustang body on my 1/5

very cool. Looks like a killer gasser!

The Mustang would look good fitted then hitting a ramp doing 50 so it can fly.
