About a year and a half ago, I picked up a used Redcat Earthquake 8E for a project, took it apart, and then left it in a box until yesterday when I got bored (I don't have many projects left anymore), so, I decided to reassemble it, but, now I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with it. I'll probably order the few parts that are broke or missing on it (battery tray on one side, battery hold downs, center support, and a mount that is missing), and let it sit another year and a half LOL. I didn't get too many pics as it went back together though. Here it is in pieces. Yes, it's getting Arrma shocks for now.

And here it is pretty much back together.

I did replace the steering bell crank that I bought for it when I first got it (I actually picked up 2 of them super cheap, then realized why they were cheap. It's because it's been discontinued and parts are getting harder to find), but that's the only new part so far.

i have a few too many trucks in this same condition, awesome project bro, wish i could offer help. once i get mine to that point its a lost cause lol
I usually end up finishing them. The problem with this one is it was originally a 4S 1/8TH scale truck, and I tend to stick with 2S 1/10TH scale, so, I don't have a motor or ESC that will work for it, and, I doubt I'll ever own another 4S anything, so, for what the motor and ESC will cost they will become a waste of money once I can't get any parts for this one. It's why it sat in a box for so long. Now, it's just gonna sit on a shelf for who knows how long.

ikr 100% this stuff starts getting ridiculoous after 10th scale, i was looking for a new esc/motor for the scx6... i can buy an entire rtr truck and have a little cash left over for upgrades, OR buy 1 motor and 1 esc....

I'm in that same boat. Do I buy the 4S motor and ESC for this truck, or do I get the motor's and ESC's to finally upgrade the last two brushed trucks I have to brushless, since it will cost the same. I figured, find an ESC that does 2S to 4S, that way I can still use it one of my other trucks when I eventually destroy the Earthquake, if I finish it, that is.
